What kind of scan is this ? Is it better than dexa ?

I'm having my scan on 12/30/24. I can't wear anything with metal, like rings, watch, clothes with zippers, etc. I had an upper body scan and they're looking at an area below the right shoulder blade, in particular. I have no symptoms, I had an upper body scan (not bone) due to an elevated PSA and that area was highlighted by the injection.

I go for my first offical mammogram tomorrow ive ahd 2 previously they are so sore and have to stand at a angle but life saving arnt they

Nice demonstration but I have never understood why there is incline in the test and allows the patient to hold on the whole time. This negates the actual incline. I know this is normal for stress tests but always bugs me

I just went to get a mammogram today. The lady called me over and she said, if we dont get your mammogram from last time you did one he wont read it.WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON? I do not understand. Why cant they just do it and if something shows up, something shows up. I left the office with a few choice words! I had the office send the last place a request for my records. Apparently, they didn't send them. I wanted my records from another hospital because they did a MRI i asked twice, they wont send them. I dont understand all this. At this point i really dont care. Im so mad!! I don't think they really care!

An mri doesn't cause surgical steel to move, that's a lie. You can keep your piercings in. My brother and adopted sister both kept their piercings in with no problems.

I had tuberculosis(MDR) completed treatment of 9 months. I was diagnosed through X-Ray Found infection in my right lung. My Doctor stop my medicine without any test. Should i go for X-RAY or Ct-scan to know the results of my lung condition, how much it healed???? Suggestions please🙏🙏🙏
