Thank you for the video. I have a question: Is LDA still useful in research these days? If not, what type of analysis do you recommend for textual analysis?
if I'm using a topic model on UA-cam comments to determine which video best explains topic modeling, how can I decide if your video or another video should be suggested? I see the model ranks comments with "gamma." If each comment is linked to a video ID, and based on gamma score some or all comments rank highly in a hypothetical "topic modeling" topic, what then ? can we infer that your video is the best ?
Doesn't this refer to the Dirichlet process, rather than the distribution? Draws from the distribution are vectors, while realisations from the process are distributions (e.g. over words) which seems to be what you're talking about. CRPs are certainly a way of understanding the Dirichlet processes.

Trying to replicate the text frequency analysis at the 12 min mark, but getting an error message stating dfm is deprecated. use 'tokens() first. Any advice on how to execute tokens?

Dear Sulfikar - Thanks! Yeah, I had some issues with kdenlive lowering the volume of the clips I recorded in OBS. I'll see if I can postprocess it somehow, but otherwise I'm afraid you'll have to crank up the volume on your end :)
