I purchased 2 packages of the S105B from amazon and they were delivered the other day. As I unboxed them and connected all 12 strands to form the 200 feet, only 9 strands lit up.I have updated the app and firmware however only the 9 come on. answer: after updated the lastest app firmware(V4.01.54), but only the 9 come on, solution: please also click "..." at the right corner of app device interface--click "light number setting" --click " manual input"--input "120"(total number of led lights)--click "ok", finally the app will show 120 led lights, and the 12 strands will both light up. if still unavailable, please exit app and re-enter to app.

How to pair and function remote? (Note: The remote doesn't include battery, you should purchase 2 AAA batteries by yourself) Before Pairing the Remote Please make sure the distance between the remote and control box is within 3m. Please make sure the remote has installed 2 AAA batteries. 1.Press and hold Button A on the control box for more than 5 seconds to enter the remote control pairing state. Or start pairing via Smart Life app (go into APP device interface--click "..." icon in the right corner--click "Add remote"--click "Pair".) 2.Keep pressing the ON button of the Remote for a long time. If the pairing is successful, the string lights will turn on/off once. 3. You could control the permanent outdoor lights via the remote.

Now "detect error" has revised into " manual input" via the app.

Go into music mode( device)- choose energetic mode-- play music-- then go into music mode- then go into device interface--go into music mode again to choose any mode, to check wether the lights will change with the music rhythm.

Can I do this with the S105b model as well?

eg. I have did as you said and cut the last section of lights and sealed the end of the wires, but for some reason the app is not detecting the extra 4 lights when I try to refresh the number of lights. They flash on for a second when I do the refresh, but then they turn off and don't show in the app. I have 52 lights in total installed but only 48 show in the app. click ‘ light number setting’-click ‘detect error’- input correct light number- click ‘save’ , that will be ok. I did that too and it did not work. I tried to set it to 52 and click ok, it says refreshed, but then the app still only shows 48 lights. I just disconnected the string while the lights were off. Then reconnected it and it's working now by manually setting the number to 52. Thank you. Or You can quit the app, and then go back in to the app device screen, that will be working.

Does this mean I can purchase two 100ft kits and splice them together ?
