Great message Stan . I believe just like you said , compromise is always gradual. We are almost never willing to take a giant leap away from the truth and it is easy to guard against a giant leap. But the tiny incremental step are easier to take and seem less harmless . Both lead to the same wrong place !

Great message brother Stan. It’s easy for me to measure my reading of the word and prayer time and even my day to day living. But the challenge always seems to honestly examine my heart and my mind . I can easily breeze over these two and just assume all is well. I try daily to truly check my heart and mind and I find nothing easy or even pleasant about doing it. But I never want to wake up a year down the road and be surprised I have drifted away ! We must guard against assuming all is well.

Great message ! I believe this completely. Rock concerts can move a person and create an emotion, but it is not a movement by the Holy Spirit. I think some churches have figured out they can make people believe God has moved them emotionally by putting on a concert and increasing their numbers by this. I truly believe most Pastors are afraid to take this message to the pulpit. Thank you Stan for this teaching on what worship truly is.

Brother Stan you truly captured what sin does to a person , what a person is thinking in the beginning of sin and then the crushing guilt that comes with it. Believe me I tried everything and everyone to save me ! Nothing or nobody can. Nothing or nobody can lift that crushing weight sin becomes. Oh but when I called out to Jesus he could , he did and can. I will never be able to explain the relief he gave me when he saved me . What he did for me he will do for all if they will just repent and trust. My pride nearly destroyed me thinking I didn’t need Jesus. Now I’m so thankful I do need him in every part of my life every day. Have a great evening ! 😊

I’m so thankful he has revealed to me how weak I truly am . I was to weak to even make good decisions . I laid on a concrete jail floor as an addict with no hope and brother yes ! I turned to him with every single thing I had in his word and prayer ! I am still the most needy adult male I know. Truly I am and it is a gift that has made me turn to him. Prayer is something I’m truly trying to really focus on and make sure I expose my heart in every prayer . Not just a rehearsed pray for my daily cares and concerns but truly expose the deepest parts of my heart and thoughts. He already knows. My pride of life almost destroyed me. But God Truly saved me .
