The mini bar was fully included in the price. It had cola, fanta, sprite and juices. The staff also asked us what we liked and what they would refill. We didn't pay much attention to the animators, we didn't have time for the show. I think there are better hotels in Hurghada for entertainment. But you will definitely enjoy the pools, food and service. The rooftop pool for adults is also perfect from where you can watch your children on the slides.

ah brilliant that's an added bonus! The rooftop pool and bar looks incredible i was gonna see if can kick them in kids club for a couple of hours but the fact you can leave them at the slides and keep an eye on them is even better! Yeah we took the choice for better food and drinks over entertainment this time around as its our honey moon and want to relax. Is they any places out of the complex that you recommend? Thanks 😊

Sorry for all the questions but are coffees and iced coffees part of all inclusive? I remember having to pay for them in my resort back in sharm el sheik! And do they do slushies for kids? It's been so difficult to find much information about this hotel as it mostly Germans haha

Hi Peter! Well, of course, it depends on the age of your kids. Our boys are bigger so it wasn’t a problem to leave them alone and watch them from the sky pool. Food and drinks are definitely better than in other hotels. There is even a good pool and beach restaurant. The beach one is most of the time full. They serve very good fresh salads, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. Also, I recommend you try the A la carte restaurant. These are fabulous with their complete menu. As for eating out, we were only in one restaurant. It was a local restaurant El Dar Darak with a high rating on Tripadvisor as well as on Google. It is good to arrive earlier. There are quite queues to get inside. Don’t get scared, the restaurant is on quite an ugly street but the food is amazing. We befriended a taxi driver a couple of years ago and he invited us to this restaurant. It was so cool, with lovely dishes and an Egyptian atmosphere. Also, I recommend going to Hurghada City Center. It is cheaper than Senzo Mall and they have a big aquarium inside.

Don’t worry, Peter. :-) Your questions are very welcome. Yes, you can expect many German tourists in this hotel. I think this hotel chain was founded by a German. Now, it’s not. That’s why it meets rather European standards compared to other hotels in Hurghada. Yes, coffee is part of the all-inclusive. I don’t know about iced coffee. I haven’t been drinking iced coffee ever since my vacation in Cuba when I got seriously sick from it (stomach issues). :-) I think they had slushies. Or if not, there are plenty of kid’s drinks. Our boys were drinking something colorful all the time. Where were you in Sharm El-Sheikh? :-) And where do you come from, guys? I think the kids will love the hotel. As for me, I was missing a wider beach. I’m a beach lover so this one was not really the top dreamy beach.

Thank you! :-) As far as I remember, all of them were heated except for lazy pool. Lazy was really cold. And those heated had different temperatures.

Hi! Thank you very much for your kind comment and questions. :-) Drinks and food are definitely better quality than in other properties in Egypt. The only thing we personally missed was wider beach and better access. But our kids were happy with the slides and pool and they wanna come back. Us as adults, we would probably choose a hotel with prettier beach. It wasn’t bad but too small area for three sister hotels. There were also quite a lot pebbles in the sea. I liked the beach much more better in Caribbean World Soma Bay. But Caribbean hotel is not such a good quality. In every hotel is something you have to give up to. It depends on what you are looking for. On the other hand, Egyptian hotels have problems with sea conditions. Many suffer from low tide and shallow water. This was not a case in Steigenberger. Nice deep water, gradual slope. Overall opinion, great hotel, very good quality, beach quite small. I am just going to upload one more video - walk-through the hotel. Wait for it. :-)

Dobry vecer, nie, z hotelovej stravy to nebolo. Dala som si milkshake v Havane plus upal a to bol klinec do rakvy. V hoteli varili super talianske cestoviny, myslim, ze hotel je zamerany na taliansku klientelu, lebo aj kuchar hovoril po taliansky a aj animatori, ale obcas tam nejake suroviny chybali ako vsade na Kube (politicky rezim). Izby su velmi jednoduche, je vidiet stopy casu, aj opadnute obkladacky ci zhrdzavane lampy, ale to je zrejme aj vlhkostou a podnebim. Nie je to europsky standard, ale my nie sme narocni, a zda sa, ze tento hotel bol este z tych lepsich, lebo mnoho turistov z vedlajsieho hotela prechadzalo do nasho. Iste, ze to nie je Intercontinental, ale z tej strednej triedy hotelov je to jeden z tych lepsich vo Varadere.Nam sa velmi pacilo a urcite by sme vratili. Ak vsak mate radsej europsky standard, potom treba zvolit vyssiu triedu. :-) Co sa tyka moznosti izieb, vsetky su rovnake, aj my sme si najprv chceli priplatit, ale na recepcii nam povedali, ze nic lepsie nemaju, iba nejake apartmany, ale tie su v zasade vybavenim a dizajnom rovnake s tym rozdielom, ze su vacsie. Tak sme sa na to vykaslali a zvykli sme si. ☺️

@ Rado sa stalo. Este take odporucanie na zaver, ak tam idete, urcite si nabalte lieky na rozne problemy, pretoze tam su lekarne prazdne. Takze nejake vseobecne ATB a lieky na crevne problemy sa urcite hodia z domu.

Hi there! Thanks! Actually, we didn’t visit Pyramds. But as far as I know, the Pyramids trip by plane from Hurghada costs around 250 €/person and by car I think around 100€.

Ahoj Miriam, more je krásne, takisto aj pláž je nádherná.Dobry prístup do mora, všade piesok. Snorchel nám začiatočníkom stačil. Nalavo pri bojkach je asi stvornetrovy koral. Ak tam chcete kvôli snorchlu, tak zvoľte iný hotel, ale pre nás bolo v Carribbean všetko top, od vybavenia hotela, čistotu, krásne zelené záhrady, cez zamestnancov až po more palec hore 👍. Určite zažijete krásnu dovolenku.

Ahoj, ano, da sa plavat s delfinmi aj v ramci vyletu na katamarane. Pozor, su vsak dva typy vyletov: 1. vylet na ostrov Cayo Blanco spojeny s delfinmi 2. Vylet na Cayo Blanco bez delfinov. Ked si vyberies ten s delfinmi, katamaran ta dovezie k platforme uprostred mora, kde budete mat program s delfinmi, ale samotne plavanie nie je sucastou tohto balika, dalo sa vsak zaplatit cvicitelom do vrecka, aby ste si s nimi zaplavali. Delfinarium vo Varadere je taka masovka, nam sa to viac pacilo tymto katamaranom.

@@trimix117 To je uz na dohode. Nechcem to tu verejne pisat, kedze to plavanie nebolo oficialne sucastou balicka. Ale pracovnici vam budu sami nukat to plavanie a budu radi, ze si privyrobia. V muzeu sme neboli, ani sme nevedeli, ze take muzeum je. :-)

To sme nevedeli. My velmi muzea nevyhladavame, sme skor prirodne typy. V podniku na vyrobu cigar sme boli, dako nas to neoslovilo, ale ked som bola na Kube prvykrat pred 20 rokmi, tak nas vzali na tabakovu plantaz, videli sme cely proces vyroby cigar od zberu listov, cez susenie, balenie a pod. Vtedy sme tiez boli aj vo vyrobe rumu a tiez to bolo genialne. Boli to neskutocne zazitky, ale teraz ma tie vylety trochu sklamali oproti tym pri mojej prvej navsteve Kuby. Dufam, ze ste mali krasnu dovolenku a vylety ste si uzili. :-)

We didn’t go to the A la cart, not even once. Unfortunately, I brought some stomache problems from Havana and I couldn’t eat properly for the rest of our holidays. That’s right, we were not part of the group.

@@sistrnky2796 That's too bad. You do have to be careful what you eat and drink in Cuba. Did you do a video of Havana?

That’s true but we fell in love with Cuba despite my health issues. :) We have a video from the whole vacation which contains the Havana record as well.
