I've discovered evidence that "A Christmas Carol" was not originally a ghost story, at all. Charles Dickens, who plagiarized it from an American couple named Mathew and Abby Whittier, commercialized it into "A Ghost Story of Christmas."

Praise the Lord that there was someone like him who gave his all for Christ. We shall continue his legacy as parts of the body of Christ
