Thank you for your question. Yes, I did have to cut about 1/4" off the back of the bracket. I show that in Part 7, the last video in this series, starting about the 2:48 minute mark. I hope this helps with your install.

Good question. My answer is, It varies. The first layer I let the resin completely dry then I scuff it with some 80 grit sandpaper to remove any strands that didn't lay down. This also removes the shiny surface which promotes good adhesion for the next layer. Allowing the first layer to dry also gives me a rigid surface to apply the subsequent layers on. Usually the remaining layers I do one right after the other while the resin is still wet until I get the desired thickness (usually a 1/4 inch or so). If I do have to wait between layers, I let it dry completely, usually an hour or so depending on how "hot" the resin is mixed, then I scuff it and continue adding layers. Also, Its ok to let it sit over night if needed, just scuff it and continue. I hope this answers your question but, if not, please let me know.

I agree! In one of the other videos, I do strip a speaker screw and show how I fixed it.

I'm sorry bud, I gotta be honest. This is, one of the least informative "How to" videos on this subject. Not to mention the way you handled the tools and the disassembly of the front fairing. I'd suggest you get a better handle on working on this type of bike.

The factory Harley radio does not provide RCA (low level) outputs and only provides speaker (high level) outputs. The harness has the RCA's to connect to an amplifier once the LOC (Line Output Converter) is connected. Without the LOC connected, there would not be any signal between the radio and the RCA's. Hopefully this answers your question.
