@paultimmins1 I understand them to some degree yeah, I've bought a dash loom now but haven't had a chance to trace the white and green on the drivers side yet. On the car I was looking to see what pin they were in and cut the plugs out of the green and white wire was only on the passenger side not the drivers side but the other 3 smaller wires were all at the drivers side the same as the passenger side like your video shows

@ how does the steering work I’ve seen this car in person a few changes made out of curiosity has it always been gutless because of the added weight or is that just rumour that it’s gutless and can’t go up hills lol impressive build making me want to do one now lol

@BradEdwards-u5o it works of the existing power steering rack and steering wheel etc. Then it goes through various knuckle joints, bushes bearings and then jeep cherokee front hubs via track rod ends.

@@kikovalladolid4920 hi the seats are the original cream and brown piping seats. We simply got sections of them dyed black including the piping.

@@kikovalladolid4920 I just had a friend do it here in Northern Ireland. It has worn pretty good but the vinyl now nearly 25 years old so me and a friend have been discussing re trimming it all with a new colour just to freshen it up again.

@kikovalladolid4920 our boat is a 2050 a bit longer but should be similar or the same interior

@@Me87main no this is actually used for B.A breathing apparatus training. It extends out and becomes a caged course that potential recruits need to crawl through in the dark.

@@Me87main We have various other units for it a Welfare kitchen living unit and various equipment units I will feature them soon.

@@RobinDuncan-s6w if your buying a mew sump they usually supply sealer with it. Any good car motor factors will get you sorted.

Hi I actually designed it myself and got a friend who is an engineer to make it for me. He helped me with various parts of my batmobile tumbler project as well.

Hi mate glad the video helped you out. I see 3 options for you. 1. You could weld a 13mm socket on to the sump plug and use a socket to take it off then replace it when removed. 2. You could use an oil extractor pump something like sealey make. This would allow you to suck the oil through the dipstick when you wanted to change it or 3. Replace the sump it comes with a new plug fitted.

It's unreal how bad it gets so quick. This car passed mot 5 months ago.

Yes thanks mate. Its an awkward angle to get a ratchet and torx into as well. The ones on the other van spun out by hand.

@@elbuggo yes figured it out later on a real pain compared to most other seats. Finishing interior today a few bits recovered in stretch carpet etc starting to look nice now. You shall see in next video if you follow the project. Thanks for the help.

Hot air comes filtered down over the car and the positive extraction draws it down and out through the bottom filters which catch any overspray. If it was the other way around the suction drawing up the air from the bottom would lift any dust and or overspray up and over the paint job defeating the purpose of the controlled climate in the booth.

Hi I have sold the car a couple of years ago now so I don't have any other pictures but I will try to help you out. Do you have a car that doesn't come with heated seats? Did you purchase a wiring loom from a car with heated seats and did you get yourself a climate control panel with the switches to activate the heated seat ?

I like to polish them every year. Once you clear coat them you can't polish again and even the best clear coat can chip. It's a family car only takes 15mins to clean up every year for mot.

@@paultimmins1 True, and if you're in the rainy isles you don't need much UV protection. I have an Echo (Yaris MK1) here in Oz, the headlights are yellow and cloudy and all the panels have lost clear coat

Yes I purchased a interior and control panel and the wiring loom from a different vehicle. I removed the required wires from the loom added it to mine and the standard disco 3 has part of the wiring in place already .
