It's just truly unlike any farming sim I've seen before, and I love how even though it's very sci-fi themed, it still has quite the mix of nature behind it as well. I've had this on my WL for a while and I'm sooo excited for it. Not that I have anything against them, but it's nice to see a witchy game that neither combat centered nor Stardew-esque or super cartoony. But I wonder if there's going to be voice acting in the final release?

Honestly I used to play that game 2 years ago and they promised a lot more and couldn't keep up with new stuff (idk why or how) and bc off that Kindred ran out of money and had to fire the whole team so right now it is mostly him alone. Sadly he now is redoing things that he should've thought about beforehand, instead of adding the new areas and such like promised. He also let kickstarters massively down as they still didn't receive what was promised. I also was a tester around 1,5 years ago and back then they worked on 2 areas and one didn't make it into the game yet (haven't checked in game and was basically as the area goes done back then). It is fun, sadly I feel like the way it is going now is not the right one. But I agree the beginning (up to the farmland) is amazing!

I stuck at the exact same Position at the end of the Video. My problem is, that my wall jump doesnt work in the hub, and now there is no way i could leave this area. Anyone have the same problem? I dont wanna restart the whole game 😢

I tried and refunded the game. The 'fighting' part was no fun in my opinion. And, as you said, I had difficulty keeping my hunger down.

This has become a game I can't stop playing. It's got that "just one more turn" (day) quality where it's now 4 hrs later. And since I was living on Florida's gulf coast during BP's Deepwater Horizon disaster, the subject matter certainly resonates. I've tried a few farming games, but they haven't grabbed me. Pixel art's stylized up/down motion makes me a little queezy, and with poor eyesight everything kinda blurs anyway. So the classics have been no go for me. I also don't like when the graphics of characters are displayed as children, no matter the portraits. Kids that romance, get married. Don't like it. (I'm 70 yrs old and have been gaming since the '80s on my Amiga.) So I tried this one and can't stop. I'm on my 4th playthru that's reached Yr 2 and I'm still seeing new cut scenes. The interface is clean with plenty of hotkeys. Just a great work and May 20 marks the 1.1 update. Can't wait.

The Chinese cultivation spiritualism is extremely complex. I've put 295 hrs (just a noob) in Amazing Confusion...er...Cultivation Simulator, so I've had an intro to the subject. I'm hoping Immortal Life is kind of an ACS-lite. Thanks for the good vid.
