It was nice to know that your party of Warrior, 2 Red Mages, and White Mage got all the way to and past Astos. Did you just get burnt out and stopped here? I wouldn't blame you for that. Oh yeah, I managed to get a Solo Unpromoted White Mage all the way to Chaos on near minimum battles. I had to take 1 fight with 2 Dragon Zombies after I got the Zeus Gauntlets, and that allowed me to beat the Eye since it was impossible with the Mythril Hammer being at such a low level. Unfortunately right before Tiamat 2, I accidentally save stated on the spot I got an unrunnable battle of 6 Water Elementals. I was able to beat them, and I got through Tiamat 2 and to Chaos at level 28 with a little under 600hp, but unfortunately I was unable to heal for more than the damage he was dealing to me with physical hits, and Curaga wasn't healing for much (maybe 250-280hp). I'm sure you could TAS it and beat Chaos eventually, but I don't think I have the patience to keep trying. Oh yeah, I didn't have Herme's Shoes either, so that made Chaos suck hard. I got to level 51 when I got 40 intelligence, and then I beat Chaos after a few attempts with near max HP. It definitely was no minimum battles run as far as beating Chaos goes, but it's a real accomplishment that the White Mage can get all the way to Chaos by itself without promoting while under level 30!
