Systemic reviews of the research show no relationship between dairy and inflammation.
It's great to see such a wholesome person in the community spreading his knowledge. I was left in a situation without good coaching for a while, and man, was it tough. One of my friends who went through this as a senior felt like the ground waa pulled out from underneath him . So least to say he was devastated, but now that he is in college he has some hope, but his team could really use a few extra dollar's to get things moving, So if anyone can give anything to help. It would go towards a great cause. Anyways, here is the dono link. Everything is appreciated🙂
This race is still number one in my book, and I am 64 years old. Watched it live at the age of 12. You can’t just watch it once. Dave Wottle rocks.
Dave Wottle is the man!!
Nice
HES THE MAN!!!!
I watched that race. At the beginning everyone thought that Wottle was going to be smoked big time. By the end we were all screaming, jumping, high-fiving, just amazing. After he re-gained the pack , I remember everyone saying things like , ‘hold on now, he might just do this,’ etc. Once he started to kick that is when all the yelling and excitement began to kick into over Drive!!!!!
David Wottle, very modest and much more of a fun character than acknowledged
August 28, 2024: The NCAA and UCLA have agreed to sanctions for SB recruiting violations during his one year as a UCLA coach. The NCAA stated that, "The agreed-upon violations occurred over several months and include impermissible communications, primarily with parents of student-athletes at other schools who were not in the NCAA Transfer Portal." SB brought his arrogance and CIF rule violation tactics he used as a high school coach to D1 college athletics. He may have thought he was untouchable and overly important that he could continue his rule violation maneuvers. He did this to himself, and I'm pleased the NCAA didn't ignore his nonsense as CIF did for a few years.
Awesome video can’t wait for more that was a cool one what school were there
Man this is brilliant stuff. His second half split I believe is still standing as some kind of world record. The 600m and 800m, people don't realize how much fun it is to race at top speed, you feel like you're flying because it's basically a long sustained sprint.
I remember Dave Wottle and the HAT 😊....great to get his version of events as the race went on and nice to see him again 👍
🔥🐸
YERRRRRW!!
As a 4:54 miler, I've been using this mindset for my senior season to try to get there. I'm telling myself that 4:20 isn't that fast and it's attainable my senior season, because I want our school record which is 4:17
Love watching this always
Its almost gets better everytime!!
Next to Secretariats Belmont stakes, this is the greatest call in sports history
That other Kenyan doesn't even want to greet him 😅
I want this hat!
Dave's 800m gold medal race is my first olympic memory as a kid! I was hooked for life.
There were other moments to the 72 Olympics besides the massacre. Awesome race!!
i salute you DAVE WOTTLE!
🙏miraculous winning performance in 1972. thank you 🙏
David I have great respect for you.We saw a very nice 800 m.It was a professional racing 🧢😁👍🏼
I remember watching the race with my dad. I was standing up, yelling at the TV, cheering him on as he pulled from being last. As a 21 year old female then I had zero interest in track and field, yet 52 years later, Dave Wottle's win is still my strongest Olympics memory.
Best race in history scotland loves king dave 🏴💪💪💪💪
One of my biggest thrills as a kid.
Still gives me the chills to this day!!
What a class act. As an 880/mile high school runner in '72, Dave Wottle was my hero. Myself and a bunch of us middle distance guys took to wearing a hat when we ran. Now at age 67, I'm told I still hold my school's record in the mile. It was the hat! Hats off to Mr. Dave Wottle. He gave us all something to dream about.
Wow…what a terrific insight into how Dave Wottle beat the best in the world. And how humble and understated is he. A champion athlete and a champion bloke.
One of the nicest, kindest and coolest people ive ever met! So awesome!! 🐸
1:53 is not fast
I gotta tell you. I watched Dave Wottle beat my legend, Steve Prefontaine at the Oregon Twilight meet back in '74 or '75...can't quite remember. Probably the mile. Of course, he came from behind, wearing that silly hat! I was crushed! What an athlete. "Hats off to Dave!"
Where the heck is the medal?
The singular most exciting Olympic race ever...I remember the excitement of seeing it in real time..I was 15...I show it to anyone and everyone who might care
so wild! Hes even a better person than runner! love Dave!! such an epic race for sure!!
Me too!
I remember watching Dave run very well, he reached legend status very quickly. I always appreciated that he is also a class act. Good to see him all these years later, he looks great!
Super cool dude and the stuff of legends! Wish you the best Joe!
JO JOE IS THE BEST!!! WOHOOOO!!
Go Hannah congrats 2:01.89 on 800m hi fives Sasu, Hannah
I remember watching race and when I went running had the hat on
Truly Amazing!!!
Dave...what you did resonates to today. Every time that I think about quitting I watch this video. i watched the race live and can only say that it was amazing. You have made an impact on lives. Jim
I do the same thing! Crazy how true greatness inspires for generations!!
If you have 1 or 2 good players, it's on the players If your whole cross country team is good, it's definitely on the coach
I saw it live on TV. Incredible.
I just read about you in a book sir and had to see it with my eyes
Truly amazing!!!
It's the first truly magical, exciting Olympic moment I can ever remember watching. I've probably watched it 15 times over the years and every time it still seems impossible Dave came back to win. Both hat and race made it an unforgettable moment in my life.
Legendary moment
Still gives me the chills decades later! Truly magical!!
ordered the pizza i wasnt expecting to lowkey fw it
Silly boy and at the anthem as I recall you forgot to take off the goofy hat still a great race you ran I remember screaming for you to catchthem at the end and damn you did it my man
What a great kid!
AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND!!!!! Love this dood!!
Without a doubt, the greatest most iconic 800m ever run.l! & It couldn't have been done by a more humble, likeable man than Dave Wottle. I watched that race live as a kid🙏
I’ve watched this race so many times, one of my all time favourite Olympic races to watch and rewatch - well run!
Gives me the chills everytime!!! So inspiring!!
I think they met outside not by occasion
1000% I was just out for an afternoon stroll! haha
Wottle is a LEGEND
Dave plays it down, claiming he wasn't running that fast, but his splits were pretty much identical - high 52s for each lap.
He so awesome and so humble!! Love dave!
WOW this guy really is a great coach :)
