One of the go-to marches by all of the U.S. Army bands I played in over a long career. Still have it memorized. Very few places to breathe for the high brass and high woodwinds!

Played that march many times in my Army career. I believe it's in the Pass and Review book published by Carl Fischer (yes, it is -- I checked), though that march should NEVER be played on an Army Pass and Review -- assuming they're still playing those. I retired from the Army band program 30 years ago and there have been a LOT of changes since then -- regrettably. Any march played in a minor key stands out. This one is one of the best.

C'était en 1963 j'avais tout juste 13 ans et au Havre j'avais vu la musique de la 76 e armée américaine défiler sous cette marche j'ai joué dans la musique militaire et 25 ans a l'harmonie du havre et grâce à internet je viens d'apprendre aujourd'hui seule ment le titre de cette très belle marche il y avait bien sûr 3 sousaphones 🌞
