Dorney Park will be enhancing Wildwater Kingdom for the 2025 season! This includes reimagining Lightning Falls and Cascade, a new bar, reimagined gift shop, and more! Credit goes to Dorney Park for the concept of art, Tradewinds, and Jumpin Jack Splash pictures used in this video.

Off-Ride POV of Twister at Knoebels Amusement Resort. This in-house PTC wooden coaster debuted at Knoebels in 1999. It was inspired by the original Mr. Twister coaster, which used to operate at Elitch Gardens. It has a height of 101 ft, goes 51 mph, and has a track length of 3,900 ft.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Here’s the first update on Lightning Falls&Cascade’s removal in Wildwater Kingdom. Dorney Park is planning on replacing them with a new attraction in 2025! Stay tuned for more updates coming in the near future!

I rode Top Thrill Dragster 130 times in 2021 before the closure! That was amazing!
I was there on the 19th attending an ACE event. It was great to see that park crowded because it almost never is.
I attended the ACE event as well. I agree, the rise in attendance at Dorney this past year was amazing to see!

What are you hearing about '25? Looking like they are just revamping Cascade with newer tubes with some effects from whitewater west.
Haven’t been hearing too much, other than an announcement coming soon. Also have heard rumors of Winterfest and Possessed’s holding brake potentially returning. Don’t know how that will end up playing out. I could see your theory on Cascade being true, considering we haven’t seen any removal yet. Hopefully not too much longer until the 2025 capital additions are announced.

Iron Menace is an exceptionally well rounded rollercoaster and is the best one at Dorney Park.
It fits very well within Dorney Park’s coaster lineup!
You can still ride it at kings island, they have another one, exact same colors, exact same layout, and exact same rollercoaster type, its called invertigo
Invertigo at Kings Island also uses Stinger’s old train every other year!

I’m aware of that. Don’t think it changes anything though. Lightning Falls&Cascade have still been pulled off the website and app. My guess is maybe the post came out too soon.

I rode Mamba at Worlds of Fun a couple of years ago, and the Mid Course Block Brakes BARELY Touches the bottom of the Trains. WOW!! What a Finish!! Pure Airtime Nirvana, Very Comfortable!! Not like on Magnum XL2Painful!!!!

I heard a rumor about steel force maybe having the mid course dialed back but it seems that is not assumed from it testing. On a separate observation it looks and sounds great. They have kept this amazing coaster so well maintained over the decade(s).
I agree! The new control system has improved how the ride is running. It crests the lift much quicker now and seems to be running faster. Not sure what the outcome will be for the mid course, but would be nice if the trims don’t hit as hard.

Good video but I recommend that you start doing some voice overs, giving your thoughts on the construction site and changes that might not be visible to the viewers. Good coverage but would like to see some one time it next level. Also get another interview with DP PR and see if you can expand upon the updates to the lower midway.
Appreciate the feedback! There’s an ACE event at Dorney Park on February 11th, which will be a behind the scenes construction tour of Iron Menace. I’m aware of some of the updates taking place on the lower midway. I’ll cover that sometime in the future.

Cruised by the park today and saw the progress first hand…..wow are they moving fast. We could see track construction complete shortly after the new year at this rate. Love the updates Iby….keep up the great work.
