You did't do a pull test before retracting the jacks, and putting all the weight on the truck. :(

I think the delamination is caused by the skin acting like a vapour barrier with frost forming between the skin and the luane ply wich is really a cheap indoor (non exterior grade of glue) door skin ply.

Great detail! Excellent presentation! I must agree though that a tug test should be conducted unless your plan is to only connect and disconnect without moving the RV or retracting the landing gear. Confirming an adequate connection to the kingpin that is secure it paramount!

I see why you say drop the trailer like. I’m a semi driver I don’t lower my legs all the way down. Because I’d rather my truck pick up the trailer. But your method works it’s just different than mine.
