Jesus... just seeing him scrape the paint with that plastic tool makes me nauseous. They do realize that the factory paint on the ND is literally held on by tissue paper, hopes, and fairy dust, right??! It's such a thin layer and scratches so easily - I would never let them near mine.

Ridiculously sloppy installation. Didn't tape off the area and destroyed the paint with that dirty mangled tool. I'd be embarrassed to have this video represent the brand. Rev9 badges are quite a bit more expensive, but they are OEM Mazda badges with a much higher quality finish than these.

Incredibly disappointing Mazda opted to drill the bumper for the MX-5 and Skyactive badges. Pretty much every other maker drills the manufacturer badges only. Debadged looks so much cleaner, the rear of the Miata is way too busy with all the badges.

Oooof this is basically how NOT to disassemble the steering wheel trim, frankly super lucky he didn't break tabs off of every single piece. You need to heat/warm up the rubber with a hair dryer or a heat gun on a low setting just enough to soften it up and you WIGGLE INCREMENTALLY the pieces where the tabs/clips are located. You DON'T try and muscle each piece straight off its mounting points like he does in this video. Warming the stiff rubber gripping everything into place makes it considerably easier. The one thing he did correctly was work the side trim out from the rear of the wheel as you can access its mounting points from the backside...and even then, he breaks one. You can't force these off people, you have to finesse them off. Be patient and go slow and incrementally. Once you get a small gap in one spot, move to another and wiggle a gap there. Think of it as the reverse of torquing down a clutch pressure plate.
