Godzilla movies which is why when Power Rangers introduced the Dragonzord it got me completely hyped as a kid.

Super Sentai is not the second longest running tokusatsu series. It premiered in 1975, Rider premiered in 71, and - as you actually showed in this very video! - Ultraman predates both of them premiering in '66. Or '65, if you count Ultra Q. Which is another thing: There is no "Ultraman Q". There's Ultraman, and there's Ultra Q. Different shows.

People are really over hyping this movie, it was fine, it needed more Godzilla tho

Always loved kaiju movies - even some of the really dumb ones. But Godzilla minus one is just the best I've seen. I am amazed on how the movie truly makes you care for the humans/victims of this monster. Really, really good.

Some of my thoughts: - There are so many scenes cut from this movie. I would even like to see the musical scene in its original length (around 10 minutes?) even if it's cringe. - Personally, I found the very first fight scene where they don't know why they're switching to be the most interesting one. The rest of the fights weren't quite as engaging. Idk, maybe that's just me. (To be fair, most of the action sequences were already revealed in the trailers and my experience watching it was mostly waiting for additional fight scene footage that wasn't already in the trailers) - They could have made Carol powering up the sun more visually interesting?? I think it was such a missed opportunity for a great spectacle. Same with Monica closing the portals. - Carol and Kamala moment in the plane should have been the final shot. I would move the Kate Bishop scene to the mid-credits and X-Men scene to the end-credits. Because.... why did it have to end with Kamala talking to a random somebody? (I say random from a standalone movie point of view. As someone who didn't see the MCU projects Kate Bishop was in, it felt weird)

I loved this movie. It was the Godzilla movie I have been hoping for. But I am still going to be fond of the old school Godzilla movies. The monsterverse Godzilla is a cool adaptation of the character. Didn't like the pinkish ray and backfin color He evolved to, though. If you are a Godzilla fan like I am. You well know all Godzilla movies are somewhat different from each other. From Kiddie flicks to more serious ones like Minus one. Godzilla movies are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are gonna get😅😅.

Sorry, but passing this movie as the best Godzilla movie ever is pushing it. The 2014 American Godzilla was way better, regardless of the plot. Minus One was scarry, yet its plot had some problems and the creature itself was lacking in many sceens, just looked way to fake compaired to the American movie.

I appreciated this movie so much because my girlfriend isn’t a nerd but really enjoyed the movie as well. I like my fantasy stuff but when it’s grounded in reality it creates something very special.

Damn near the best MOVIE ever. A godzilla film where you Dont want godzilla to show up, you love this family and dread the apperence of that Monster in thier lives.

even though this is 100% my preferred movie, i also got absolutely nothing wrong with godzilla x kong. there's nothing wrong with a dumb, fun movie that allows me to just shut my brain off and enjoy the eye candy. obviously minus one is the WAY better movie, but i don't need to go through that sort of emotional roller coaster every time i put on a godzilla movie lol

The Marvels was terrible. It's fashionable now to hate on the MCU because it has been terrible, with few exceptions, for going on 6 years. Do you think people wanted to hate "The Marvels" or other bad MCU projects? Do you think we enjoy wasting our time on disappointing movies that are killing a beloved franchise?No, we want movies to love, to get us excited for the future. The Marvels was another "here's a thing, isn't it great, look how diverse our casting is. Now just wait until the next thing! It's going to be the next thing" rinse and repeat. People who liked movies like "The Marvels" or the latest Ant-Man or Thor: Love and Thunder, Multiverse Of Madness etc. are the worse kinds of fans... Those who like MCU projects just because they are the MCU and not because of the quality of the movies. It's why we keep getting bland boring poorly conceived projects (again, with some exceptions, "No Way Home", GOTG 3, X-Men 97') The Marvels is bad, jut plain bad. "The Marvels" sits at an abysmal 52% audience score, and I'm pretty sure that is the worst audience score out of any mcu film. It has a worse score than "The Eternals" "Quantimania" "Love And Thunder" and "Incredible Hulk"... I mean come on. Such a low score suggests even a chunk of MCU diehards didn't enjoy it. -"this film packs a punch with its stellar performances and fresh take on the MCU" Might be the worst take in the history of awful takes.... -"stellar performances" lol, what? The best performance in that movie was middling at best. The actress who played the villain can not act to save her life. Bree Larson has zero personality. The actress who plays Monica (why is Monica Rambeaux even a thing) took the "I don't want anyone to actually like my character" acting class that Brie Larson teaches. -"Fresh take"... What? There was nothing fresh or new about this movie. Other than it was all female... that worked out well hmm. lets give the audience 3 female characters that nobody gives a crap about, that will surely be a box office smash. -"groundbreaking direction"... Mate, what are you even saying? This movie was as vanilla as it gets. This video is wild man, just wild. I didn't watch much of it, so maybe you were trolling; if so, good job. Here's hoping Deadpool/Wolverine can breath some life back into this dying corpse.

Wait, it sounds like you're saying Shikishima should have killed Godzilla earlier on that island. Most likely he wouldn't have succeeded if he tried. Okay, guilt him for his inactions but you can't blame him for the existence of Godzilla. The movie is better than this. Godzilla is not a mcguffin (plot device) that hinges on what Shikishima does or doesn't do (the tail does not wag the dog). On the contrary, Godzilla is overwhelming power that has been unleashed. He is the giant allegory in the room. The movie is about how ineffectual Shikishima is against the force of nature, the epic wonder that is Godzilla. In the west there is a focus on the one individual but in the story here, the monster is defeated by a group of people coming together and uniting. Count the younger character who brings in a fleet of small boats, look at the one who created the explosive and who fixed the plane. Look at the smart ones who put their brain power to work along with the elders and leaders. A whole village was needed to win the day. In western storytelling (Hollywood) there is a focus on the individual protagonist... but it's important to say that's not the case in Minus One. This is a more effective story because Shikishima is so weak and helpless at Ginza, he can scream and yell out his frustration. But he might as well be screaming and clawing at the sky. And then the black rain fell. So... suggesting that Shikishima's character is responsible... this is undermining the bigger story that he is not at fault. One foot soldier should not be blamed for a war. His arc of redemption is for himself and other ordinary men caught war. It's a redemption for his psyche, you could say for his soul. His war that was not finished is inside of himself. Insinuating he's at fault for the destruction wrought by Godzilla is... at best an exaggeration.

Minus One is an awesome film. The current crop of Legendary G movies are very reminiscent of the later Toho Showa Era movies. The closest we got to feeling anything about the human characters was Bryan Cranston's character in the 2014 movie. And then he died...

Every time I listen I catch something else..shoot me a drac is a visual reference to shooting an automatic AK(draco). You have to put down pressure on it to the muzzle down. The n word lines are in reference to Drake using the hard "R" in a video, to add that is is not really from the culture. Dope video, appreciate the breakdown
