What breaks me is that this solo might be better than some of the other ones on the show. Brooke had amazing passion and a beautiful smile in this solo but the solos on the show where quite not up to par with this solo. Personally I think that Abby underestimated brook and even made her a dancer who lost her passion. Also serious respect to who choreographed this solo and if it was Abby well brook deserved more solos like this.

You can tell she has that passion, she was absolutely incredible and the way her body moved so fluently is just absolutely incredible

Honestly what the fandom doesn't see of Maddie isn't just that she wins and is Abbys favorite, But that she connects with dances, Her leaps are so high and her technique is sk good. People say her facials look like shes taking a dump but she connects so well to dances at such a young age. Take disappear or Telling myself for example. Her turns needed a little work and she needed to take a pause but shes basically perfect

I never knew Brooke could do press handstand! The show never showed Brookes true talent which saddens me!

Abby is partially to blame but then again, you can’t blame Nia bc she had to relearn how to dance since she was in a wheelchair but overall this was a good dance

The problem is that the choreography got harder as she got older and she couldn’t keep up. She was on par with a rec dancer. Nothing wrong with that but that the reality of the situation.

The more I look back and watch her, the more I don’t understand the hype. Her leaps are extremely low, she’s not flexible at all, the only time something looks good in a solo of hers are her turns, everything else is a big hot mess. I can’t figure out why she was so celebrated for her dancing when it just awful to watch.
