At the 1:00 minute mark, is that Bernie Sanders behind the mask? Really don't picture him as a Jeep guy. Great looking rig, Looking forward to seeing the rest of the transformation. God bless, stay well.
Yes hahaha
What is your measurements on the long arms? What does your front pinion angle and caster angle look like?
I don’t remember i know i pushed it forward two inches from what that said to set it at the pinion angle and caster are just fine
Bruhhh😳🥵
Can’t help but listen to it spool all the time
Coming along brother
Slowly but it’s getting closer to being able to ride again
Can you remove the transmission crossmember and leave the long arm mounts in place or does it all come out as one? Just curious as to how you’d remove the transmission of it ever went bad with out removing all the suspension link bars
It’s all as one piece
what size waste gate? what made you go with an external gate? ty
38mm
Is that coppengers cove. Close to jasper tn
Yes
Incorrect caster?
Oe bushings with 310k miles on them
Random radio working sounds like an antenna related problem. Check the back of the radio antenna connection. Also some of the Cherokees' have an intermediate cable between where the cable comes through the A-pillar and the back of the radio. Hope this helps. God bless and stay well.
It’s is the problem
rough country has a bad rap. personally i dont like them and thats with 20 yrs of dealing with them and other companies. i have a combo of parts now that work well.. clayton long arms, rough country front n rear springs, fox shocks, 8.5 lift in the front with 7 or so in the rear. sye with a built np231 transfercase i built to handle the future small block 406 chevy i also have dana44s from a 80s cherokee running 4.56s with lsd in rear and locker in the front. full un is plated and i wheel it to work everyday. i love my 99 xj. its my baby.
They aren’t bad when you think about the price point of them but i have also upgraded since doing this i think the only thing i have left of rough country is front bumper crossmember and rear leafs which are about to get replaced when the Jeep is manly on road can’t really go wrong with rough country for the price but you get what you pay for if i knew i was taking My Jeep level to where i am now i would of started off with the good stuff but then again it started off to just be 3 inch lift and 31s for a overland build and I’m working my way now to a really good crawler
Looking good buddy, I’ll be installing a 4 inch lift on mine this weekend
I wish i would have went 4.5 to start with instead I’ve went stock to 3 to 5 now 6.5-7
Did you need a slip yoke with the long arm ?
I did it because i had planned for the future of going up two more inches it all depends on if you have vibrations or not after you do it I’ve seen some people run them without the sye but they are simple to do and less then $300 you can use a front ds as the rear
@@outlawlifestyle9080 maybe I’ll give it a try without one and see what happens and just invest in one later on, I’m in Canada and the only one I can find for my transfer case is 740$ if I had any other transfer case it would only be 340$ 🤬
Look into a hack and tap set
Haha I stripped my brake line fittings too and didn’t wanna mess witj it no more haha
Happened to me 2 weeks ago with my 92 XJ. I had to order brake line and buy the bender and flaring tool (My Napa doesn't loan tools any more). It wasn't terrible but it isn't an exact replica. That fitting crumbled. It was 3 days of staring at parts. Ran into all kinds of problems. The biggest was leaf spring bolts. I had to cut the spring, rubber and sleeves off then heated the bolts to get them off. The kit should come with new bolts, it was a 60 dollar 3 day wait. Don't get me started about trying to find 17/32 and 25/32 drill bits for the side plates. It should all be an option when you buy the kit. Other than that, it is SUPER tall on 30s, can't waitt for Santa to deliver some 32s.
i just keep looking at how uneven your hood vents are lol
It happens 🤷🏼♀️
It's not bad off.
Mine are the same
Just get a set of 6ton stands. That hi lift thing looks incredibly dangerous. Thanks for the video
I have some now but had to use what i had at the time
Man.. I've had 6 or 7 of the 2 doors in my day.. currently a 97 and 00... But I've never had pleather seats. They look way more comfortable. I'm too broke and lazy to swap ZJ seats in though. I try to stay away from highways and long drives anyways so it ain't so bad.
Every Jeep i own right now has pleather seats haha
Are these stock axles?
Yup with 315k on them and i finally broke the first one this past weekend
Nice! Such a fun place to go! I need to get back deeper in there and explore more. I always run out of time and only have a hour to kill
Definitely a lot to explore
HOW DO YOU ACCESS THIS NOW?
