Phantasy Star III had to be the easiest of the four games. All I had to do is grind to a decent enough level and maybe get the strongest equipment for everyone. Against Dark Force, all I really needed to do was use my physical attacks while my healers spammed GIRES. The other three were harder. With PS1, I had to max out everyone's level, then load up with Burgers. Against Dark Force, I had to alternate between pummeling him with Flaeli (FIRE) and Hewn (WIND) and using Doheal (CURE) to keep my HP levels up, keeping in mind that Dark Force could hit ALL my party members HARD and the game did not give you a healing spell that healed all party members. Dark Force's HP levels and toughness were such that my party members all ran out of TP before the boss's HP was depleted, forcing me to rely on Burgers and physical attacks to get me through. PS2 had the most difficult last two bosses. I had to REALLY prepare for both these two battles - especially Dark Force. First I needed Shir in your party to steal Star Mists from the Item Shops. I needed about 3 per party member. I had to grind to at least Level 40 for those I was bringing with me - Eusis/Rolf needed to know Megiddo (MEGID). I needed to know who to bring with me. I needed to know which equipment to equip each party member with and which items to give each party member. I needed to know which techniques I needed to use. I had to be able to cast a MEGID, then heal the party before Dark Force and Mother Brain could retaliate. Now Mother Brain wasn't too bad - it was Dark Force's ability to possess party members that really made the second-to-last boss difficult. With PS4: I had to know which techniques and skills to use. I needed to know which fifth party member to bring with me and how to use that fifth party member. It also helped that I knew which equipment to equip and which equipment to keep (and NOT SELL!) and use as an item. I also needed enough TP and skill points to outlast all three forms of the Profound Darkness.

Oh cool. October really ended better than last year. So many fun games. Sonic x shadow generstions also had the sonic stuff and gerald robotnik's journal which makes shadow seem like a herald if galactus. Just wish I could get codes for the skins. Glad mario party is fun too and optional rather than take away or force motion controls that the older stuff did.

But even under 3x speed AUTO battle mode only and ALL BUT Monk mastered hitting lv 99 UNDER 4x EXP STILL takes LONGER to do then it does the BEAT the entire game so say the entire game only takes you 15 hours HITTING LV 99 FROM LIKE 50 even under 4x exp WOULD still take ANOTHER 30 to 40 OR MORE hours even if you kill everything in 1 hit that gives out exp. BUT Shinryu uses lv 3 Flare so you can NOT be at lv 99 against it since even at lv 99 Absorbing ITS TIDAL Wave is a MUST but IF ITS LV 3 Flare CONNECTS it automatically DOES 9999 damage to anybody when Shinryu uses it so ONLY fight it up to lv 98.

I remember doing this fight against my brother. We did the code where you can control the enemy. He had his force and I controlled the bosses. I wiped his butt so easy spamming magic.He got so mad. A proud little brother moment.

I just hate the presentation of having the second screen jammed on the side. They should have just made it a button menu. If you play these games on Retroarch you can enable screen switching so you have a solid singular game screen. Then you toggle between both screens for the map.

They did it again. They skipped the LCD filters for the portable games, but included the CRT filters for the other included game. That’s really frustrating. This and the GBA collection should’ve had filters to mimic their respective screens.

These should be actual ports and have the possibility of play them fullscreen with no second screen.
