Labor system is pure hot garbage and kills the game for me. i like to have something to do than standing around circle jerking for pvp points, that gets old real fast.

at this point im leaning more towards archrage since they have eliminated more of the time consumption on meaningless mundane tasks

@@shperax there's dozens of wow private servers making real human money as we speak (through a "donation" shop where you don't actually buy things directly, kind of like the casino loophole where you buy chips to gamble with). The only way these private servers get shut down is if they operate and host in a country that respects intellectual property laws and they start cutting into the retail product's profits (like how that one classic wow server got a little too big and popular and blizzard shut them down).

@@jpperformance86 thats a privat server not on steam and its active there always like 200 people around and on daily actives it can be reach to 1000

@@kogei_tsu You can resell items you get from rng boxes back into the marketplace, which is basically money into gold, which is p2w. Don't get me wrong the server is great, but saying it isn't p2w is wishful thinking. This is coming from someone who invested 150 quid into p2w on archerage RU.

Not sure about exact player count but its 100% around 3k + players at any given time - all raids (cr,gr,library,world bosses) are usually 2x full raid, top gs is around 5-6k gs, land is terrible, you wont find any 16x16 free plots anywhere, your only bet is buy it from other people(they are selling frequently) or be better at land grabs.

it was 4000 average concurrents at launch, 3000 a month later and now after 3-4 months of release, it has been on 700 average concurrent players, got a catchup package and its still getting new players server is still doing well and wont die anytime soon. They are also working on a custom content patch which should be coming soon enough. there is land open and land being sold everywhere but one thing idk about are average gearscores as i dont check those

All AA private servers are dead besides archerage USA server which is filled with pedos

I do understand the frustration. In comparison to other MMORPGs new world does feel like it doesn't offer that much content, but as a game, we do believe for its price point of 40USD it has plenty of content and the potential for players to sink in hours on PvE, PvP and crafting. What do you feel lacks in New World in terms of content for its pricepoint?

@@Coopium Wasn't I clear? Content. You can spend hours grinding crafting in plenty of MMOs. Doesn't make it good content. Just because a game has PvE, PvP and crafting (3 things) doesn't make it good content. It has a few dungeons, few world events, few quests. It has few but repetitive everything. The game gets stale faster than week old bread.

Of course having fun is something subjective, and when you say "3 things" you're talking like they are small things. it does feel like you're coming from a PvE perspective, which I have to agree, New World does lack content in comparison to other MMORPGs, but the point still stands, for its pricepoint, as a game you don't even have to pay a subscription for, which is the standard for MMORPG nowadays in the west, I still think there's a lot to do. But again, fun is subjective and I see where you're coming from.

@@Coopium Even from a PVP standpoint, you have 3 options right? Open World, Arenas with a set number of participants, and Battle Ground style CTF. That's not really varied. How many modes are in something like WoW's BGs? Now look at crafting, its very grindy also, without much actual depth. You say for the price point its a deal, but how much would it cost me to get WoW? Right now its $25. Sure it has a $15 sub fee after the first month, but just like NW's cash shop, that sub is optional IMO. You can buy it with in game work. My point, which of course you're fine to disagree with is; New World does not give you nearly as much for a Dollar Per Hour of entertainment as many other MMOs. Its super easy to pop in and play for a month and then get burnt out again. Which is what I do. It has a lower barrier of entry as in you pay once and you're done. However now you're buying an expansion next month. In WoW you pay $25 (on sale, or $50 off sale) and you get EVERYTHING that came before it.

Thank you! I have to agree, the single-player side to the game isn't bad, it's nice to not have any pressure in away that you can enjoy the game by yourself at your own pace! We will be keeping up with the game, and hopefully bring more awareness to it and help shape Palia into something we can all enjoy for a long time!

not to my knowledge. well...there is archerage ru which runs well but archerage is filled with pedos. they literally condone CP. there were underaged irl CP images on some walls in the game, made tickets about them, mentioned in discord as well and the whole community, staff laughed at me. i shouldve contacted the fbi or something and just taken the server down since they take down anything mercilessly where there is CP.

But even with the rng, it took less time to gear up than it does in modern archeage with hiram shit.

Please expand your talking points on p2w and garbage labor. I already refute your running like shit because they've upscaled the server and now it's buttery smooth.
