I was standing right next to that person filming. We had to deal with over an hour and a half of rain and we came back and he played so many great songs that’s just the way he is and he sings better than anybody live.

His voice was clearly really tired from the long tour but somehow I feel like that extra grit in his voice, and the fact he pushed through it so hard, made the show even more special.
