I’d assume the raven guard would be the sniper but their probably saving them for the assault class because they fit that too

2025 is shaping up to be a good year for Warhammer 40k, what is your most antcipated release?

They even admitted that they were supposed to bring Salamanders a heavy weapons, but they were already taken, the same thing that the Sniper were supposed to be a Raven Guard, but they have other plans, maybe a ferocious power claw

Worth noting that the skeletons in The teaser image are bleed through from the background picture they line up perfectly with the tomb king skeletons in the background, so no vampire counts arnt the 10th core faction thats probably cathey

Their obviously interested in bringing back the legacy factions but their not going to do so any time soon, I think there's a plan in place given what's being replaced or remade on aos to reintroduce the legacy factions after aos 5 comes out, so 2027 at the earliest

The biggest loss of "flavour" over the editions for me has been the terrain/board set-ups - there's almost no diversity among terrain anymore and everyone just plays with ruins as a result. I can't remember the last time I played with forests and/or when it felt like it made any difference at all. I'm not saying it has to be some multi-layered drama but seriously a little more diversity would have been nice.

We know Games Workshop do not like mixing kits between different games, perhaps they have done a name change to have the black knights and grave guard to be part of a vampire count range for the Old World!

It looks cool, but a Salamander would've worked on literally any other class better. And even though picked sniper, they've ignored the Sniper's iconic weapon Las Fusil, the only weapon that actually does thermal damage in his kit. To say this is a mistake would be an understatement

If it was written to where instead of warning the emperor through sorcery, he would come late to the battle or simply send a text message. He would have helped rats and only have costed the imperium a long distance text charge

AoS was at it's best when it was soup. Make it viable for human-dwf-SCE armies to exist. DoK-chaos or orruck-ogre soup.

I think the sniper skin works for the Salamander since the 7th Company is comprised of vanguards/scouts
