someone at work introduced me to Blue October. Ive embraced all kinds of mostly. but I mostly appreciate hard rock. they showed me "The End" and I loved it. I have finally sat and listened to good old UA-cam mix with them, and so far, there is not one single song I could say I dislike or don't care for. he pours so much emotion into every one of their songs, I am an empathetic person, and this guys soul reaches out to me in every single song. he is amazing. they are simply amazing. One of my new new favorite bands ever. I love this band a lot. what a great great find thanks to a coworker/friend of mine. what an amazing, and I mean truly amazing find. I don't know about them much, but if they are still together here in 2015, I will go to any possible show they have that comes near my town. Thank you guys for the amazing music. The violin is eccentric and incredible, everything is incredible. I could go on for pages and pages describing how many ways this band touches me deeply. every song brigs me close to tears...because it is just so vivid and deep. thank you so much Blue October. I have been suicidal for many years, but you bring me energy like no other...thank you
Ive seen metal, rock, country live and Blue October, (being an original sound on their own), put on the best performance Ive seen. Their musicianship is awesome. If you have a record exchange near they give free tix if you buy the latest album they are touring off of.
I have a love of this song. The days when I wanna huddle in a corner and bawl my eyes out because the world is too big and my thoughts are too loud, my lovely s/o can tell, wraps me in his arms and makes it all go away, and quiets my mind down. Sometimes thats all I need.
Gen, I know you pain. I had to learn to love myself, never give up on me: no matter what he wsd saying. I emotionally detached from him ( he is a narcissist) and fought to protect and never give up..I also had outside professional help..Its been a year now, all I have fits in a closet, but I have a quiet mind..and im making better choices with my life..I read self helps and follow my spiritual journey..never give up..and dont envy your journey is unique and girl you are a fighter..fight for you.
When I thought I was losing my mind.. because of emotional and physical abuse.. the only thing that could quiet my mind was this song.. And the part that it said "I love you" was to me... As I was considering killing myself.. Now I thank Blue October for helping me through my darkest hours and Thanks for the quiet mind-because your song.. I cry as I write this.. cause I remember how close i was to ending it.. I'm so glad I didnt things are so much better!
somehow i missed out on this band 'til now, DX but my FRIEND (a GREAT one) knows my tastes, played some of their stuff on the hour long ride home; from a night out on the town. wow!
