Awesome video! I think I first met Jeff around 95 96 when we all started switching to inline and ice. Jeff was mistook as a bobsledder by some of the folks at the lake placid OTC if I remember correctly, his legs were huge! Great to see him still rolling

Back in the (quad) days I would hang a left kick out like a trip wire. I also threw a left foot back once in a while (took Jeff out once and felt bad about it). It was the wild wild west. If you are racing against guys like Roland McV ya do what you gotta do. The SOB broke my nose. Then we went out and got drunk. I wasn't all that fast but I was pretty scary, and in my dotage I was (just) able to keep Ross from a sweep in league races. It was like sprint car racing. Jeff also pushed me through a race (literally) to keep some jackass from making the final. Those were the days. I only coached for a brief time but I think I was a better coach than I was a skater because I tried my best to teach people to train hard, focus, and to understand that I was not a good role model.

Do this more often. I would love to see a few with individual races. Being able to see a skater and hear them speak about their lives a bit or how they race, brings so much more to this sport. You do a great job of allowing us into your space.

And living here in Hollywood you run into celebrities all the time so when I ran into Zendaya I showed her your videos and I said she looks like you and she said yeah she does, I think you actually got her beat your way past the beauty of Zendaya. The Formula 1 race is this Sunday and it would have been cool if you could of been here for the Grand Prix of Long Beach. My Racing Number is #977 Ameature Racing Series. Keep your head up.
