Rest in peace Jack. A beautiful piece for a beautiful soul. I played this piece twice in High School with a head director who might have played in this group. We loved it so much then and it’s still a favorite of mine to this day. I agree with whomever said they were shocked that this was recorded in a hs gym. Not only are the 600-700+ students SILENT but the acoustics sound amazing!!

Yes...at that time, was the gym for Walker High School......designed like a quanset hut.
So blessed to be in this band and to be under Jack White......best decision I ever made was to go to Northeast La. University for music........and glad someone made a recording of our performance.
That was the one year I was in symphonic band, I think.
