Thanks for nice words and your question There is two different ends you can visit red or green. Most people go the red end ( the way they land). There is different areas you can go for different types of views and experiences. If you go somewhere in the middle you can see the aircraft come into to land,take off/ display along with having the aircraft taxi right next to you . Food whise there is two food venders and one coffee vender there whoever they are pricey . There is also few portables loos there right by the food and the merchandise. You can buy a daily sheet that has the movements and can buy a program . Hope this helps :)

I was hugely fortunate to have stayed on camp at RAF odiham as an atc cadet back in the late 80's. I went on 5 different camps as a cadet & odiham was by far the best of them all. As an aspiring fast jet pilot in those days (never made it) i remember with great fondness the enthusiasm of the pilots who gave their time so generously trying to persuade me that flying helicopters was far superior to fast jet ha haaa. We flew twice on chinooks that week & the things we did on those flights you wouldn't believe if i were to just comment here on them now but i left that camp with air load master on chinnoks being my second option with the RAF after pilot. Unfortunately for me none of it came to be...cheers maggie thatcher!....but i will never forget the things i saw odiham’s chinook & puma crew doing overhead on a daily basis that week. An experience i will never forget! Thanks for a great video AF96, it brought back some great memories.

Sounds like house most days, I live on approach to Odiham. I did my last tour as ground crew at Odiham and I love the Chinook.
