Election 2024—After the Dust Settles
With the historic and closely contested 2024 election behind us, one thing is clear: the new administration taking office on January 20 will bring with it new priorities in aging policy. Based on the campaign platform, Bob Blancato, President of Matz, Blancato & Associates and National Coordinator of the Elder Justice Coalition, provide an in-depth analysis of which aging policy issues are likely to take center stage in the coming years, given the new Congress. He also explores what to expect from the aging policy agenda and whether the election results make a 2025 White House Conference on Aging more-or less-likely.

Hospice is out of control as well as Alzheimer’s discrimination and referral to hospice… major drug intoxication issues and refusals to listen to the pharmalokenics. Plus Lawyers are pushing case into one incident and dealing with facility without court and on facilities terms and paying for survivors to walk away and so does the issue…. These cookie cutter lawyers should be banned from representing survivors as lawyers when they really don’t use the court of law for the justices needed for reform.
Nothing is in place to help the abused. Memory care residents and the nearby hospital coordinate bed hopping due to medicares daily limits (three day hospital gets the facility paid for again for 60-90days. Realized this when my mom was in icu and saw her neighbor from facility in icu room next door… wondered why,. She has no family advocates.. plus usually facility does not support hospital calls… plus they don’t care on that level… same night two pick ups. I thought maybe aps checked her out from my report of abuse… then I thought.. she’s in the icu? Three days… then read the Medicare Medicaid will pay after three day hospital stay. It would be easy to check … the correspondence of the 911 call, the reason for icu and investigator to see any communication between doctor at icu unit with memory care facility.
I’m interested in doing an emergency exparte comb through 2 people per one elderly gets an assessment. One week to turn in and one week for facility to fix. One week to check fixing and then one week of fines collection. One week of data gathering . One week of request proposals of immediate needs. The data will show numbers of needs to bring to legislation. One week of acquiring lawyer agreements with formulation of law school insertions. Need authorization for all elder community facilities to pay deposits for com through inspections deposited into one national escrow account. Utilized like random drug testing. Employee protections and bonuses to be provided to nursing attendants and staff. Support for caretakers with deceased elder abuse victems compensation for Volenteer work needed to improve crisis so that the issues at hand can be dealt with instead of caretakers having to spend time forgetting the issues at our hourly hand.
1:01:06 how do the clients afford the social workers to show up at the house saying do you have any food because they don't know anything about what the social worker is talking about is putting your caregiver in jail for being extorted.
58:02 the individuals with disabilities are unable to be gainfully employed to pay for all of the politicians paralegals self-help clerks judges lawyers attorneys everyone else in every field of relativity other than just the medical field including interpreting making it look like you're eating the budget while someone else gets guns walks someone in a cage blocks you there and sends someone else with guns to another place to demand more money. You're there at the hospital with your client but you can't return to your house because people have come there with guns telling you you have to flee the country because they've got your money and can't figure out what you're saying.
53:10 that's discrimination we don't need these conflicts of interests on providing services to neurosurgical patients
50:17 native American tribes being traded amongst the countries so we could study through marriage divorce and taxes faith and practice of medical treatment and intergalactic travel
46:06 adult protective services said we couldn't do anything unless we took guardianship of my ex-partner to stop his ex-wife just like child protective services said we couldn't do anything unless we had a reason to take the children from both parents it's an entrapment loop of violence and extortion
44:04 you need the protection and advocacy units I've been trying to explain to you since 2016 in order to survive the war how do I/we?!?! explain that more simply?
40:36 I did all that I'm telling you I've been doing that on repeat it's like I'm talking to the wall and then you hear them chanting about lock her up she's just crazy
36:50 Magistrate Court why would the state police not be able to understand racketeering and you send us back to municipal Court after the state police sends us to you?
36:22 my reports either got flipped or flopped they just pretended they didn't understand or they put my name or my perpetrator's name went on that redacted collusion 5th amendment Miranda rights don't ask don't tell and HIPPA
28:56 imaginary my brother doesn't think I'm imaginary! I don't think childbirth is either!
27:24 oh yeah I know and we're supposed to report each case every 24 to 48 hours and then you don't get the money back to the client the client still ends up with no shoe laces on the street!
25:25 wrong guy would be extremely important at the school at the school had put the kid in the wrong car the teacher got put in the wrong car in the court
24:24 exactly we can bring the orphans to the elders homes and cheer everyone up and recommend goods and services to and from each generation and figure out where the teacher went from school instead of wonder in the desert like we're stuck in the Bible because we get all this genealogy stuff of you go with your next of kin which my brother and I have been best friends our entire lives and I was serving him before he was even born and at his birth
2342 as every malpractice attorney we have to stop the war as every divorce attorney we have to stop the child abuse neglect and exploitation because people pretending they can't understand what I'm saying is definitely detrimental for my children it's where my children are learning it
21:36 yeah the children are being used to lead the adults into war so that is causing compounded debt from every generation before us we need those buildings that are abandoned anywhere remodeled immediately or demolished because they're causing pests and then we have pesticides they're causing pollution and then we have birth defects play r&b able to study which medications are most beneficial in which circumstances properly because we won't have this problem where people aren't trained properly to assist with medications so it's really helpful when we can work together to find a solution and we aren't having the stonewalling and gas lighting which are psychological warfare 2 or 52
20:12 every time you hit a policy where you're having malicious obstruction of justice or malicious undue prosecution for extortion you have to redo that policy into the new protection and advocacy units so we can get rid of all the conflicts of interest that's why I told Marlene Cisneros no don't want to pretend I'm my perpetrators because you're going after my brother and he can't read or write
19:16 send in housekeepers groundskeepers maintenance personnel veterinarians and support staff if the person doesn't want support staff then the person needs to do it themselves
16:56 bring a trailer for things you want to donate a trailer for things you want to keep and a trailer for stuff to go to the dump take the person to the spa the cosmetologist the massage therapist and to discover hobbies and interests relative to rescue this planet propagate the next provide staff and supplies to do so and remodel the house 44 wheelchair accessibility unless it isn't sustainable than demolish it and find new housing make sure you take the client to the primary care physician first and ascertain contagions and pathogens take the client to the dentist get all dental work done make sure the client has all of the accessibility tools necessary for each individual pursuant to need
14:02 judicial notice must be taken of my December 28th 2020 filing at the 12th Judicial District Court in Alamogordo New Mexico the United States Patriot Act the United Nations charter the NATO alliance the United States Constitution and declaration of Independence we have to be able to say no to somebody's got a gun and wants our stuff including children grandchildren brother vehicle house equipment supplies and more thanib 36 million dollars of providing behavioral therapy speech therapy occupational therapy physical therapy medical transportation interpreting from American sign language to English and back while bassisting all daily living skills and community Access tools including the state federal and international investigations to develop the physics and engineering project to resolve the draft and threats from natural and unnatural disasters in every location.
11:55 Medicare quick merger And that's exactly why we don't need to re-qualify for Medicaid or anything after we already got born, you don't need to qualify again, and again, and again, and again, for clean air and water food healthcare education travel freedom from malicious undue prosecution for extortion from every source including shelter and $2,000 per week per person for product testing and development enforcement of codes upgrades at all abandoned buildings into wheelchair accessible living facilities with aquaponic production lines of organic produce and industry the 50k things we can make from the sticks and stems from cannabis soldiers pick up prisoners civilian law enforcement pick up people in need distribute goods and services door to door throughout the community especially the farms ranches construction sites fisheries provide housekeeping groundskeeping maintenance personnel caregivers cosmologists therapists primary care physicians dentists and manufacturer recall of alcohol tobacco firearms high fructose corn syrup unhealthy frying fats pesticides and pollution from the market with replacement in the hydroelectric fuel cell recycling centers and septic tanks avocado oil agave cannabis tea with honey.b
What could you do to help people understand you need them to answer your guardians questions?
What could we do to help people understand you wouldn't want them to silence your interpreter so they could steal your wheelchair and patient lift your vehicle and house?

Whoa...too much intro...
I so empathise with the lady describing the 🍃 as I feel she is a fellow autistic person (hopefully diagnosed by now and showing self-understanding as I am)
How do I view the first and third last sessions?
I enjoy listen to this on 0.5x speed, slowed down all people sound mellow af which make the subject matter sound more dynamic
45:15 guy needs to hoard some sleep apnea devices.
A great presentation, but the impact on the hoarder's family was completely negated. Having a hoarder impacts the other family members mental health, takes a toll on family relationships and when the hoard extends onto property that does not belong to the hoarder, the costs are astronomical. My hoarder knew a roof was leaking for 3 years, and did not even put a tarp on it. In the past year I had had to spend over $40,000 on neglected repairs and maintenance, while the hoarder continues to buy, buy, buy. I am very angry. It is no fun at all to spend your holidays clearing out rodent contaminated, hoarded out buildings, renting dump trucks to take it away. There are at least 8 more dump trucks to go. Yes, he has a mental illness, but that should never be an excuse for an over flowing septic tank. I 100% understand Scott's frustration with his mother. When are his feelings validated?
It’s so strange that hoarders can’t throw away an article or a bill with information easily googled.
Would u say it's strange a person with one leg to use a chair with wheels on it.... when they can just hop around? No. Please don't comment on a person's disability in such a way when you don't understand it. You may only be doing more harm than good. #endthestigma
I wish he'd answered the part of the last question that addressed why it's harder to remove children from a dangerous hoarding home environment than it is to remove animals from an animal hoarder. I'd also like to know if and when pets can be removed from object hoarder (not animal hoarder) homes. Object hoarding and filthy conditions are dangerous to pets, whether it's one pet or many.

Liberalism is a mental disease
Great tips, stay healthy!
Thank you for posting. This is helpful information to those of us dealing with family members with this issue.
Ones I know collect paper, bills, newspapers, coupons etc Fear of missing a valuable paper, a need to ck every piece. Bags and bags of old bills etc. Fear of someone stealing their info. A need to hold onto ex excessive pencils. I don't want b to give away or throw away because I may have to buy again in the future. Example. 2 tubs of desk supplies, I work with them to organize helps some and shows them the volume of what they are keeping. A danger leads to poor maintenance of home
My mother is a narcissistic hoarder. Listening to this lady speak got me triggered.
I enjoyed the work a lot! I've been trying to find for a UA-cam video similar to yours that educates the stuff in this vid. 🧑⚕️ 👌Your explanation really is like the vids of this informative med student Dr. Ethan!
