1:52 spamton talking about the knight. If its a communion, by definition, its "the sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially on a mental or spiritual level." Spamton is then speaking "no im sorry, i didn't meant to", assuming there is no one in the shop except for Kris, then it might mean that the knight is literally with kris. Spamton was about to talk about the knight and Kris (us?) feeling the same. Or something about the SOUL, maybe the knight also has a SOUL. Or the knight is having a communion with gaster.

2:18 Okay hear me out, so most of us seem to believe that Mike, who we know had once given Spamton a wonderful life before disappearing and leaving Spamton with nothing. And who most people believe is going to be an important character in Chapter 3, which based on the clues is likely going to be a TV themed world. This would explain what Spamton means by [[CRTs]] and how he “won’t need them anymore”. But what about [[Easels]]? If we apply that same logic backwards, it sounds to me like we’ll be getting an art themed world as well.

We're not very likely to see that dude again, but I really wish we can finally make him happy and free in future chapters, unlike Jevils who's totaly crazy, Spamton is weird, but has a dream, to be free, and he never managed to accomplish it, he is such a good character I would love to see him again

Ok guys hear me out. Try rewatching this dialogue, but everytime, he gets a [hyperlink blocked] or a phrase with two of this signs [[ ]] (for example [[die]]), what you will notice, or at least what I did, Someone, or something is not letting him say some things. For example, ....Mike... KRIS DON'T TRUST [[anything you see on TV]], THE MAN IS A CRIMINAL I TELL YOU!!! A CRIMINAL!!! Some people may try to connect this to the TV smile at the end, even I cnnected it at first, but what if he got censored from saying something important, like maybe he was gonna say that Knight or Mike was a criminal. One more thing about the knight question, he stopped speaking in caps, and started appologizing, 1:51 and then he censores it with his next line in caps, TOO MANY EXCESS VACASION DAYS?? TAKE A GOD DAMN VACATION STRAIGHT TO HELL. Just saying, like if u agree, or have noticed something. I would like to say more but these are yt comments.

Dudes, I may be the only one, but I'm pretty sure the "man, woman or child" part is a RWBY reference.

This isnt canon, and is just a theory i thought of, but what if the Spamton talking (the "DONT YOU WANNA BE A [ [ BIG SHOT ] ]) is mike possesing spamton after the calls, and the regular talking is spamton himself breaking free and saying as much as he can

A lot of people think Gaster was the one helping Spamton, with the "but there was only garbage noises" line one of the salespersons tell us, but I think it makes more sense Mike was the one making the phone calls ? Spamton mentions him here and in his fight in the basement (I don't really remember what he says in the secret fight though) but it seems clear that he has a thing against Mike, and if I'm not wrong, in the secret fight, Spamton was saying something about proving something to Mike or something like that. Plus, I think it was mentioned that Spamton had a TV contract or something, and with Mike and the chapter 3 probably being in a TV world, I guess it makes sense ? I'm not really sure about the tv contract thing though. So, my theory is that the person helping Spamton and doing most the phone calls mentioned would be Mike. The only phone call I'm pretty sure isn't him is the last one, with the "garbage sounds" line mostly pointing out Gaster. I think Gaster only talked to Spamton at this moment personally, and it was the moment Spamton started to go insane, and started to find a way to get his freedom and to become a [BIG SHOT] once again. Somehow, he found out about the neo armor, IDK where to place it on this timeline, either before the last phone call, or a little while after it, and try to have it for himself and his goals, but was stopped by Swatch in time. Lmao, sorry, it was supposed to be only a theory about who makes the phone calls and I end up trying to do a timeline of the events in Spamton's backstory. Also, sorry if somes sentences are weird or badly written, english isn't my first language.

okay this might be a dumb theory/question, I'm still familiarizing myself with all of the lore but, hear me out... So it's pretty much universally known that we, the player, control most of Kris' actions/decisions. Kris is pretty much the only one navigating the world like this, until we encounter Spamton, we then discover that Kris isn't the only character experiencing this phenomenon of being controlled by an outer force, so that got me to wondering, since Spamton isn't a character that WE, the players, can control, then WHO is controlling him? it's also been noticed by everyone that Spamton talks about heaven and ANGELS a lot in his dialogue...Then it hit me, there's only one person that has the "power" to control the outcomes of the world around "us"-----the players, and Kris, jone who, we could even go as far as to say, is the GOD of their world...Toby, after all, he IS the CREATOR... So for me, that leaves me with a few questions/theories...Is it possible that Toby is the other seemingly omnipotent being that is controlling Spamton? Is Toby like, CANON in this world as a God-like character? And many more questions... It would be really interesting to see, and again, I'm really just letting my mind explore the possibilities lol it's really fun how much Toby's games allow your mind to really wander and play with the story and the lore. When you ask about the Knight, he seems like he is about to tell you something... but then he gets cut off and apologizes profusely before telling you to go to hell. I don't think he was apologizing to YOU.

Kinda feels like spamton is being watched by someone and one wrong thing said makes that person angry hence the "hey that hurts ouch!" maybe hes being tortured on the in side? if you get my drift. or maybe its past trauma. seriously seems like if a kid is trying to tell you a secret in front of their parents.

Theory kind of : i feel like some virus (or just. Something) is in control of the real spamton but theyre sharing the same body. Spamton is the one who’s primarily in control of the body, but he isnt truly free as his speech is constantly altered in [brackets]. And it also kind of follows his theme of wanting freedom. Not to mention that he has two speech patterns, the one where hes YELLING and the one that only appears rarely, when he talks in all lower case (which is specifically only used for serious topics ie. about the “knight”, “mike” and asking for someone to help him.) Obviously the loud speech is the virus thing, and the lowercase is the real spamton. Also maybe its why he apologizes soon after mentioning the knight, because the other being doesnt want him talking about it? Just a thought
