Talc City Mines Random Adventure Turns Prosperous
In this Adventure we stick close to home and drive about 20mioes out to Talc City. We had no direction planned only thing we wanted to do was explore some roads we hadn't been on and see if there might be some mine action that we hadn't been to yet. Turns out we found a couple real fun ones, we like always had epic views and found some interesting artifacts. Hope you guys enjoy our short little trip out to the Hills Of Talc City. Like always Love Your Adventure.
P.s future videos will have a more professional description starting after this video, going to try to put more info in here for you guys, about the mine history and some of the rocks and minerals we find. Small Mine Wokings Near Tecopa & Cool Rocks 😎
Переглядів 20112 годин тому
This was our second day out in Tecopa. We had a long drive home through death valley ahead of us but we had seen some smaller workings up on the hill up the drainage next to the Gunsight mine. So we decided to run it and see what we could find. Bottom Portal was gated(BUMMER) but there was some upper workings as well. So we geared up and headed up the mountain. We found some stopeing action and...
Tecopa Gunsight Mine Ascending (Part2)

In Part two we head back up from the lowest level of the Gunsight mine and get some fresh air before heading up to the upper levels of this old mine. The ladder system we climb to get to the upper levels is one of the craziest things we have done to date. But all and all this mine gave us a great time and now we got the taste of Tecopa, so we will be back for sure. Hope you all enjoy the video ...

Your videos are making me really want to get back out west and get underground, gotta get my fix!
Im up at Cerro Gordo hr north of you guys till Saturday
@@DiscoverFarOffPlaces are you helping Brent
@LOSTWORLDCREW I got out here yesterday just stopping in to see if they're good before winter sets in. I'll be working Tin Mountain and out by Scotty's Castle for the next week. I need to get those areas wrapped up before the snow locks them in..
@DiscoverFarOffPlaces hopefully they are good, normally when a storm rolls in you close your windows hahahahah hopefully they learned that from last year. But sick man, well next time you in the area give us a shout and maybe we can meet up.
rails and lumber = gold
I appreciate the videos you guys post. The desert scenery and mines are amazing but the light spirited fun you explore with puts the perfect vibe on the exploration. Even musics on point from Sublime to country & a little of everything else too. Thanks! One question - I'd appreciate your opinion of off road desert exploration in the Chevy vs the Toyota. I'm looking for a 99-06 Chevy/GMC (IMO most reliable & cheapest/easiest to work on full size truck made) for that purpose but seemed like the Toyota was a solid rig for you other than think I heard something about losing the transfer case in 1 video. My knowledge is pretty limited to GM Ford & Dodge trucks. Thanks again!
The Tacoma stock will get you anywhere really you want to go maybe a scratch or to or ding but with a lift could get you anywhere. The chevy is great it's cheap and easy to work on only thing is it is a little wider so on some of these very very tight roads it would be more difficult but still possible. We love the Tacoma for it pure ability but if your looking for cheap and easy to work on then what your looking for would work just fine. My chevy is a 04 silverado 4x4. And really appreciate this comment, we truly do love pure adventure and we try to just be our selves and just record what happens. Thanks for hanging with us and watching our progression.
Good explore! But no talc in “Talc City”! Looks of the veins it was a gold mine. Dan R. Tecopa Mines
@@jamesriggsdds2337 probably was, but the area is called the talc city hills, lots of talc mines all around. Our next adventure we will be dropping into one
Ghosts n stuff, old Maxwell House Coffee can and finger guns.... Good times
@RattlesnakeRanchers we had fun, going to be headed out there in a couple more days to explore some more of the area
Dope
So Dope
What do you guys think the temperature is down there?
@@hvacexplained9341 probably in the 70s
@ run into any Graboids down there ? 😝
@hvacexplained9341 lol nope none of the tremor monsters down there, well yet
@@LOSTWORLDCREW if you guys ever do any traveling. There’s a place called Laurel Caverns outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a small town called Uniontown. You can go cave spelunking very fun. I’ve always wanted to explore old coal Mines around pittsburgh but never got to.
Curtis Mayfield❤🎉
Dead Penguin…😆😉. If so then he was a loooong way from home huh ??!! 😏
I remember that mine with the gate very well! If you get a chance, you should take a closer look at that gate
@gregerisman211 trust me if we drove up to a mine we thoroughly checked to see if we could get in. Maybe back in the day you could get in but not now, since you have been in how far did she go?
@ I was in it last November, probably 1500’ of workings, with a shaft and nice head frame. Been trying to figure out how to send you pictures. Unless the gate has been repaired since then, all is not as it seems, lol
@gregerisman211 we checked all around they gate and it looked like it was welded shut again. And if you want to send a picture could send yo my email americanrifle24@gmail.com would love to see what the inside looked like.
@@LOSTWORLDCREW pics sent
@ awesome thanks man!
Where are you guys located out of?

What animal died in that mine cart 😂??
Maybe a Rabbit, we think. But the face sticker made for a good laugh 😂
Do you guys see many bats in some of these abandoned caves and mines?
@CoachAllanBatman Oh yes, we see lots of bats. They are always super chill. Cool to see them kicking it though in the mines
Great sunset colors, wow! Thanks again for the Death Valley NP info and maps! These cave and mine exploration videos are awesome…Keep on digging!
@CoachAllanBatman No problem man, hope you guys enjoy your Adventure as well. Thanks for watching and Rock On ✌️
Going tomneed therapy after climbing on some of those ladders to get your adrenaline back.down
awesome mine!! thanks for sharing
@@owenroche8426 thanks for watching. We’re glad you enjoyed stick around!
I was really hoping you would come out one of the upper portals, but maybe it's not possible
@gregerisman211 o well stick around, we already are planning on headed back to run the rest. Just so much to do and we only had two days to run the mine. But we will be back and we will finish running the upper most portals. Thanks for watching
@@LOSTWORLDCREWThere’s a lot of really bad timbers and collapse up there, really sketchy.
@gregerisman211 copy that, sounds like a good time, we will be safe if we try to run it
Those first mines are placer gold mines and you were in Marble Canyon. Opal comes in down canyon. They’re always dug in alluvium and known as “Coyote holes” if vertical or “Drifts” if level. Since there were dug in alluvium 100 + years ago they are always rotten and super dangerous compared to a hardrock mines, caving wise.
Awesome, thanks for that info. Love learning new stuff
Jenga!…. Dudes, that first portal was sooooo rotten.
Right, so sketch
Sick!….Out of the mine & off into the sunset.
Sweet explore! Glad I could come along with my morning dust free coffee
Great videos, thank you

I know of a few down towards baker more off 127 near mm 20. I have pin drops i can send. Im too chicken to go that deep into them
@thor4224 O hell yeah brother, if you send the pins to americanrifle24@gmail.com LostWorldCrew will definitely check them out.
Wow, i would never have the guts to ever go into a cave, let alone explore one!
NO WORRIES! We will go in them for you, we love what we do and love sharing it. Stick around! Much love
Are you guys gonna visit us here at the Noonday, War Eagle mine, Columbia mines? Dan R. Tecopa Mines
@@jamesriggsdds2337 yeah absolutely, we were out there for the Tecopa Fest event but got our time messed up. So did some exploring of things we had planned already. Checked the Gunsight mine out. ”incredible”. But we will be back out soon and will message you!
The Gunsite is an awesome mine!
@gregerisman211 it sure was and still is, we had a great time. Thanks for watching, you know of any others you think we should explore
@@LOSTWORLDCREW If you haven't already, go visit Ross at Tecopa mines out on furnace creek rd, I don't think he will let you loose on your own, but he can take you on some great tours of his mines
Not too close...need you to keep making these mine videos
Idiots sorry not me
@jerrywtf9053 thanks man we will carry that with pride. Thanks for watching and till Next time Love Your Adventure & Rock On ✌️
I'm actually headed that direction in a few hours with the buddy out to Mina NV off the 95 to explore mineshafts 🤙
@DiscoverFarOffPlaces heads up for that blue Tacoma, if you see us out there pull up would ,be cool to run a mine out with some fellow mine explorers
@LOSTWORLDCREW that would be cool to meet up and explore some shafts. We changed the plan a bit and are exploring the shafts out near Pyramid Lake. We'll be out here till Thursday morning if you come this direction stop by the white mercedes sprinter van 39.8590439, -119.6422153 if we're not at the van we would be out on the bike looking around and will be thru in and out throughout the day.
@@LOSTWORLDCREW That would be awesome to run down some shafts with you guy. The plan changes a bit we are out by Pyramid Lake exploring the 115 shafts I have pinned on my map. If you guys come over this way we will be here till Thursday.

Why you don’t have a topside safety with a Starlink for safety? Remember provide safety first.
@BrettDavidsonAdventures well if you would like to provide the funds we would love to buy that stuff, but until then we will do with what we have. Thanks for thinking of our safety though.
@BrettDavidsonAdventures and dude you seen the fs helmet it's safety second brother 😆 🤣 😉 😜
Another Forest Service Video
@BrettDavidsonAdventures um well no, it's a LostWorldCrew video. But yes it is a out of date out of service FS helmet that I wore on multiple fires where i sweat bled and almost died. So yes I will where my helmet with pride. More respect is needed for the boys who fight wildland fires with the Forest Service. But till your next forest service comment Love Your Adventure Brother and I hope you keep checking out our adventures and hope my helmet dosnt bother you 😉 😜 😘
@BrettDavidsonAdventures should look at our shirts and hats got on 😆 🤣 😂 its all about the Forest Service brother. Green For Life

Not a tree for 100 miles, but the mine is full of timber 😮
Just think how much that timber cost or the time or even the miles it took to get it there. WoW crazy right
Maybe the Wonder Pussy is out there somewhere?
Probably the vent stack from the furnaces had asbestos pipe
Nothing like warmed over death! 🤪
Why are you using a Forest Service helmet??
Don't know, was in trash can. Why you FS?
