To prevent painful period cramps, drink spearmint tea
I cannot find anything online to back up this discovery, but my personal experience is that spearmint tea eliminates pain, vomiting, diarrhea, and other uncomfortable menstrual symptoms.

First, find a shirt that doesn’t cover the burn. If you can’t find one, then cut an old shirt with some scissors. Next, prep and apply the cold compress (watch the video). Finally, don’t forget to apply aloe vera, and sleep with a fan gently blowing on the burn.

Wow! Simple and clear!! No gimmicks and extemely informative!! Thank you. I was searching for videos on how to remove stains from a sweatshirt and what you metioned about soaking clothes in the sun is what I want to avoid , do you have any tips, the stains are mostly food stains?
Im a year late but THANK YOU. I never cook beans because I cant ever remember to get them ready the night before. I love beans and didnt know there was a way around it, so thank youuu ❤
Omg thanks for that
In the old days. We would save it in a stocking and tgen place it in a glass jarbto solidify. We would then put it out for birds in the winter. Just for tge day. Then quickly remove it so you dont attract rodents. Thank you for video. Best wishes from NY
Thank you....great video. You have a lovely voice and very easy to understand. Happy 2024 feom NY
You can also don’t minutes in the instant pot. I’m doing four minutes for two cups.
Thank you
I’m gonna try this method today
Great idea!!
God bless you
I’m a it confused because isn’t most house water hard water so it contains chloride or chlorine . Iv heard someone say that combined with ammonia is similarly bad to using ammonia and bleach since bleach has chloride . I wanna use it , especially maybe at a laundromat to disinfect before I wash . I have some clothes that got I think pesticides or some chemicals on hay. My friend burned hay and I got stuck in a ton of smoke for like a half hour. I’m having a weird allergic reaction , I quickly washed my clothes on a short cycle and I think I need something more thorough to wash it out , my eyes have been ultra baggy for almost a month now . Constantly irritated . Thing is it’s clothes that loose their color was, from lucky brand and I don’t want to strip the color . Does ammonia order stick after wash easily? Is ammonia something that doesn’t smell once evaporated or dry? Like if I also let clothes just sit in it and water and the air dryed or is it hard to remove it from fabric?
I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. A cup of ammonia in the wash should strip out those skin irritants. Don’t worry about the chlorine in tap water. It is such a tiny amount that it won’t cause any problems. The problem comes from adding equal amounts of chlorine and ammonia, which can cause serious injuries if inhaled. Yes, the ammonia will wash out cleanly and won’t leave a smell behind. It has a strong smell while washing, but rinses out clean and your clothes will have a nice freshness to them. It’s fine to soak your clothes in ammonia, and then wash it out. I wouldn’t air dry clothes that haven’t been rinsed though. You need to rinse the ammonia out or it will irritate your skin. Some people use vinegar in their laundry, which actually does leave a smell, so I would avoid vinegar. Best of luck!
Thanks for the response , you think if I did this in a laundromat it would smell too much? Also idk if I missed it, do you just use as much ammonia as you do detergent usually? Or even less product than a detergent since it’s so strong? Thank you I really appreciate you willing to respond
@@heythere6983 For big loads of laundry, I add one cup of ammonia. For smaller loads I’d cut it to half a cup. I’ve always used the same amount of detergent, but I suppose you could try using less and see if you get the same result. I wouldn’t worry too much about the smell at the laundromat. It does smell but the laundromat is a pretty big space, so the smell should dissipate. Save it as the last step though. Don’t open the bottle until you’re ready to pour it in and start the wash. It’s mostly a problem if it’s left out in the open. If it’s possible to open a door or window something, that would be a good idea, but you have a right to get your clothes clean either way.
Oh ok so I mentioned detergent as kind of an idea of how much ammonia to use in place of laundry detergent. So you use both at once? Don’t think any chemicals in detergent could create some sort of reaction with ammonia? Or is it fine to only use ammonia and that will clean everything in its own? Thanks again I’m literally holding off on doing laundry until I figure this bit out. And I’m overdue for laundry lol
@@heythere6983 yes, you can safely use ammonia with laundry detergent. Detergent is a great invention that reduces the time and effort of getting clothes clean. We used to have to literally beat the crap out of clothes before the invention of detergent. I wouldn’t skip the detergent. There’s usually a separate tray for detergent and other cleaners. I put the ammonia in one of the separate trays. That way the detergent can do its thing, and the ammonia can finish the job. Don’t worry about residues that might be in those trays. The amount is too small to cause a health problem. All the best!
Thx for explaining how the blueing works , this was very helpful .I've never tried this method but I have some yellowing articles and came across "Bluette" and thought I try it. 🙂👌
Thanks for sharing great advice w/the ammonia 🙏🏼❤️👍
As long as you accept the clear difference in the result of water based vs oil based noodles.
Thank yoooouu 😭

Beyond the first couple of washes, It's not the _dye_ from dark clothes that transfers to lighter clothes - it's the microscopic amounts of coloured _lint_ that get into the fibres of your white T-shirt, turning it muddy-looking... I'm with you on the ammonia, though - that and hydrogen peroxide are brilliant for laundry...
Isn’t there chloride in tap water, so isn’t using ammonia with hard water basically as dangerous as mixing ammonia with chlorine/bleach? Also is ammonia something that is hard to wash out of clothes? Prolonged rinse or just normal wash? And I was curious , can someone soak clothes in it and rinse and let dry out and it won’t smell? Does the scent go away as it dries or does it linger? Any tips?
You can soak them for 4 hours or 8
That's pretty much over night for some of us lol 😆 so yes
Thank you for this instruction, my mother left many of these tablets and I didn't know what to do with them.
Did they work???
@@mercedesbenzs600bash 100%, I add them at the end of the wash

Omg really I’m going to try right now. ! “Ok Omg I just tried this just now, it works ! It literally says quick soak with these exact directions on the back of the beans! I saw that after I tried this lol “
30 to 45min 😮 Idk what kind of beans you’re cooking 🧑🍳 lol I cook mine all day and I never soak them overnight. I just rinse them good and put them on the stove Late morning or early afternoon and cook them on 3-4 (medium low) for about 4hrs- cooking 🧑🍳 them slow REALLY helps u get a thicker consistency in the soup part- I don’t care for watery beans lol
Facts. As a mexican who cooks a whole lot of beans and rice, they cook just fine if you do or don't soak. Promise. Lol
Tell me about it! Cook for 4 hours ! I learned that from my Mexican coworker! 😎
It is very difficult to hear you 😢
Outch going to get bloated ❤
Simple and effective. Better than Spoon trick.
Is it safe to wash baby clothing with ammonia?
Yes baby clothes are fine. If there’s any irritation, then add an extra rinse cycle. You can lay out washed clothes in the sun to dry and it will brighten your whites and break down stains too.
Thank u sooo much
The oil also helps the pasta from sticking together
Can I use softener along with the blue?
Wit Tyler, please answer her question.
You are the best thank you for the tip...no wooden spoon, so oil it is! Works like a charm.
Where did you purchase your bluing?

Yes, it is color-safe
I’m curious which detergents contain the bluing.
Definitely TIDE,maybe GAIN...
I have found the color catcher sheets to be great! You can mix colors and they trap colors and dirt too

Or use a bigger pot. Beans do expand as they cook 😊
🎉 bigger pot so you can have more beans from one cook, thereby saving time and effort, thus making you eat more of the legumes which are believed to be responsible for the healthy advantage enjoyed by our Latino population🎉
So what happened to the blue cube in the cloth? Can you use that same cube again say in a week or so?
Yes, you can use the blue cube over and over. It crumbles really fast, so the cloth holds all those crumbles together.
