Personally, my kids can stay as long as they want as long as they are working towards something and being productive. I feel it is a disadvantage to the black/brown community wanting to immediately put kids out. We are AT TIMES the race who hates/degrades ourselves the most. I have seen other races come together constantly on the pursuit of home ownership, great credit, entrepreneurship, etc. I have two boys and I will always have their back and allow them to come home if they need to. As someone who is 2 years from 40, there were times I needed to take my ass back home but I could not because there was no home to go to, LOL! Also, schools DO have real life skill curriculums today. My oldest son has taken 1 each year since middle school along with tech courses and culinary classes so they are being more proactive and allowing kids the opportunity along with eliminating the potential debt kids can face with having to take out loans. We can't stop them from wanting to leave but I also think we should never plant seeds that they are not welcome or need to go. As long as my kids are NOT on the Catalina Wine Mixer BS and yelling boats n hoes, they can stay and come back as much as they please, LOL!
