this fireplace is a beast !!!! it will heat a two story house with no issues. 20 degrees outside but 80 inside my house!

We have already purchased this fireplace and are getting it installed this week. I am excited because we have a barn home with about 2600 square feet and I think this will be great. My brother does custom cabinets and has about 2 to 3 50 gallon barrels of dry hard wood every week. Do you think I can heat my house on this alone because you can burn 12 hours on a single burn?

Thanks for this video. I’m researching a lot between this and a Napoleon 665 or Treger. I’m leaning towards the KJ because of the slow roller. What is the best size to purchase for the KJ? Where can you get the lump charcoals and wood chunks?

I have this large hybrid and it’s heating 1st and 2nd floor about 3100 sq ft. Works well and we love it. We don’t get the 10 hour advertised burns but we get about 6, even with the air turned maybe 95% down and packed with seasoned hardwood. However, we do wake up to hot coals ( fan shuts off if no coals on the right side where sensor is) and we easily get it going again.

Thank you for posting this informative video. I've owned and loved the food my Traeger has produced for 15 years. Yes, it does ruin you for going out, whether it is salmon, chicken, pork, or beef. This year it was a question of whether to upgrade to an insulated Traeger or go ceramic. We live in Alaska. In the winter we smoke for flavor on the Traeger and then bring the food in to finish cooking. No complaints, great flavor, lots of compliments. Except for the heating rod needing to be replaced every few years, and once the thermostat, no issues. However, the Traeger does not go hot enough to sear, and I love making pizza, 500°+ is a no go on the Traeger or non-commercial ovens. And the idea of a well insulated and sealed grill (think moist!) without the need of a electricity was inspiring. I bought a Kamodo Joe Classic 2 (would have bought a 3 but not offered locally and had an issue getting it shipptd). So far I'm impressed with the moisture the Kamodo holds and the ability to sear. Unfortunately, I taste charcoal though. I may be doing something wrong but I think the wood pellets with the Traeger have better flavor. I've also had a problem getting the grill to 500+. Having re-watched the video I'll try the nuggets mentioned. I'm using natural wood lump charcoal and wood chunks and my food still tastes kinda like it was dropped in the charcoal - I would really appreciate tips on how to get away from that!

Mira Valley Holly RC 120 will not start this season the display board comes up and says Recipe off and the stove won’t do anything and because of where I live nobody will come to service it I’ve been in contact with Ravelli bod getting information is like pulling teeth from a crow how do you reset the board to factory specs so the dang thing will run that’s all I need somebody just tell me how to reset it? Is there a technician out there who could share that information with me? So that my $5000 pellet stove that’s two years old will run! Thank you

It would interesting to place your fire starters under the charcoal and then try the fire stoking feature. With the extra airflow the fire probably does does not spread down into the charcoal as well as it would with normal airflow which is slower at first.

less is more isn't it when it comes to double burn unit? my friend owns one, and after 6 months of use, he notices one log provides as much heat than a fully loaded stove.. so very efficient indeed.

Thank You Lou! We just got our Northfield up and running yesterday and the remote has so many options that trial and error is a hard way to learn how to manage the unit. Your video went step by step and so clearly explained this that my wife and I are now very comfortable with using it. I wish more UA-cam videos were as well made as this one!

I am so happy the salesman @ Deans Stove Shop told me about this video. this is the best video I have seen in a week that I have been searching WEB on how to run my pellet stove. He know his product, He tells truth on the efficiency and took the time to show me and let me practice on the store unit. Thank you sir..... I still have a sour taste regarding the other sales man
