Great drive! What if I tell you that I paid $350 US dollar in tolls for this year (2023)? If I didn't have PIKEPASS or E-ZPass, I would've pay about $610 US dollar in tolls. The reason it's a lot because live many next to E-ZPass states. For reference, I live in Tennessee and the next door E-ZPass states is Georgia, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia.

That section with the railroad tracks in the median reminds me of Austin's Mopac Expy!

I drove this stretch of Will Rogers Turnpike back in early 1982. The thing I remember most about it were the signs every few miles that said something like "Do not drive into fog. It's most likely a tornado, not fog."

The temporary two-lane portion of the Gilcrease Expwy is mostly in the southeastern portion of Osage County, OK in the northwestern portion of Tulsa, OK, but that expressway crosses the same county line twice. There would be no reason to go through the expense and time needed to tear this strip apart. It can easily serve as an emergency landing strip for small aircraft with nowhere else to land.

The James river freeway exit on I 44 should also say to us 65 south Branson because that is the fastest way to Branson for people coming from the west

This is now a tourist attraction. It's nice they kept this. Only thing that changed was that one overpass being torn and the road being returned to surface level.

Great drive I love when your in Cleveland or near it. Crazy how the freeways have almost 100% changed to LED through the past 4 years I kinda miss the orange high pressure sodium’s but the LEDs are nice and bright white. You should do a i71 video sometime starting in Strongsville to where it ends at I90.
