First Man soundtrack made the landing so good.
The music itself is great, thank you !
Is there a way to transfer crew from a module to another ? (like tell them to do it from capcom seat) ?
I don't think you can with those monitor pages I have setup in PCR, but I guess you can with regular RPM modern monitors, to verify... Cheers
yesss been waiting for another vid
Awesome work! KSP missions can be full of suspense, but you brought it to another level. Sinatra's Going Home perfect match, must see for Mankind.
thanks a lot !
Once again you have achieved a better looking iva than your Mk2 Pod (not saying its bad ofc its amazing)! This is Amazing!!
thx ! : D
Nice! so how did you have it come up on its own? What mod does that?
@@techstepman thx ! I used Mechjeb docking autopilot when controlling the Progress, then switched to the ISS craft, the autopilot keeps going ; )
@@Kurgutt wow it can do that? you just opened limitless possibilities in my head! i never thought of doing that!
@techstepman haha, cool ! Yeah, the only limit to this is that the 2 (or multiple) crafts need to be within physics range (~2.2 km) of each other. It works with KOS too afaik. Cheers
@@Kurgutt thanks!
This has got to be the coolest Sim footage Ive ever seen. Ive always been fascinated by the Apollo missions so thanks for sharing.
@@Black-Heart-Actual thank you ! Glad you enjoyed the ride : )
I can't even do a proper Rendez-vous from the outside view, not even talking about having no map and just numbers 😆
lmao
That was pretty cool 😀 GG 👍
Merci à toi ! (you're French right ? I remember that, if not sorry hahaha) Love your late airplane stuff too, cheers !
@@Kurgutt Ah ouais c'est vrai que on est Fr 😅 Question, ça te prends du temps a faire ce genre d'animation?
2:13 it's not "Kurgut Space Program" - it's "Kaputt Space Program" 🤣
The music made it sound like a documentary, instead of just a regular ksp gameplay video
I guess that's good then ? : P Cheers
@@Kurgutt Ofc it is! Awesome vid, can't wait to use the IVA mod btw
congratulations for the video and I really like the kos script that you made will it be available one day?

haha, KSP IVA is rather a niche topic, mayb that's why : P, happy you enjoy it ! ❤
Very good. Made me remember the "good old days" :P when Squad used to do videos like that.

ca sent la passion !! bonne a toi continue a nous régaler :D

Спасибо, вы тоже ! (hope google trad got it right : P)
What type of IVA do you have?it gives me apollo like vibes
It's from "Deck's Saturn V" mod, found on spacedock
@@Kurguttokay thanks!
Hehe very cool, definitely a fun start! The little robot reminds me of the pixar lamp in a way. Looking forward to more - its certainly time consuming, but so is KSP itself :D
Hey ! Thanks : ) That's funny, as I was animating it, I tought the same thing : D Cheeers
Oh common UA-cam deleted my comment for some random reason or maybe that was me I don’t remember but still good video a bit of sound effects would do it well.
That's weird indeed, I even don't see it in the youtube studio thing, just gone ^^ Yeah I originally wanted to add sounds to everything, but I leave tomorrow for work, so I didn't have enough time left for that : / Cheers
super cool! keep doing these!
Thanks ! I'll try, but it consumes t i m e like nothing ^^
@@Kurgutt Yeah animations are very time consuming
Happy new year! Super cool animation! Love the little robot, super cute and expressive!
Thanks a lot ! ❤
Those guys had awesome humor 😂
didn't they : P And I had soo many funny audio clips of them on top of that, but I had to make choices lol
26:20 how'd you get that for the EAS 1 external command seat?

@Kurgutt Thanks! I am willing to add the mod to KSP soon! Thanks!
Bonjour quel est le mode qui te rajoute la télémétrie en haut à côté de l'altitude
Salut ! C'est Kerbal Engineer, super pratique pour avoir plein d'infos orbitales, sur ton vaisseau, deltaV, etc
@Kurgutt Merci bcp ;)
It is fantastic good job! May I ask how did you manage to be in IVA and record from external view the staging which you blend in to the video? Thank you!
Thanks a lot ! : D Of course : that was done separately : first I flew the mission from IVA in one go, then did the video editing, then noted down all the external shots I wanted to add, then I flew the mission a second time, recorded the shots from external view, and then synced them with the rest in the editing software. Some hours added of work, but I think it's worth it in the end ! Cheers : )
@Kurgutt I thought so amazing really amazing. In deep down I wished it would be possible with some mod having both on a second monitor that would be awesome
@@raketenmannde Oh actually, I saw once a mod that did that, it was something related to telnet iirc, or other., I'll take a look. Btw, I have a small discord server if you feel like to join ! : ) discord.gg/GcfDk4DYHU Cheers
@@Kurgutt Thank you definitely I will join. Btw I am teaching kids with KSP we are building controllers together and do a Mun landing mission together with 10 Kids. Each controls with their own controller a part of the rocket. I thought I will now move this to a next level with VR headset. The only problem is that if the one person is in VR the other can't see the map. I use telemachus but you can't set navigation nodes. So if there would be a mod with dual display would be heck of a cool thing. One last question but in your flight have you been using a VR or headtracking? Or just the mouse?
@@raketenmannde OOh that's so cool, the kids must love the experience I believe (I woullda loved it has a kid for sure haha) I was using normal mouse controls, since I don't have a VR headset, yet : / Tho, in the intro shot in the car, the camera motion is controlled by headtracking, with Kerbtrack mod Same in previous Episode : 'Through the Eyes of a Kerbal - 5 - Fly me to the Mun', starting from 27 minutes into the video It's not perfect, but it's already good added immersion Cheers !
I love the modernized Gemini look :3
Thank you ! < 3
Canonically mystery goo is a baby space kraken
But do they ever grow, or "hatch" ? How the Kerbals catch them ? Some suggest, as the goo is sentient, that is it made of Kerbals, dissolved in some "genetic ooze" matter... : P
Tu es revenu enfin 👋🏻
Ouiii 👋 Content de pouvoir m'amuser dans KSP à nouveau : )
I'm so glad to see these videos back. Cant wait for more.
Thank you, I'm glad to be back too ! : )
Mike sounded exactly like Norm Macdonald at 14:21. It's also really funny because Norm has a Joke about Mike, and it's funny how they say "Okay Mike" after he jokes about them going to the surface 🤣 He went all the way there and didn't get to go outside
I had no idea that they pulled off a docking manoeuvre
Sorry for commenting so much but I do find it interesting how limitations make things more fun. The way you said "That's so cool" when seeing the engine rotate in the fake monitor. Obviously you can see it more clearly in vanilla KSP, but it's cooler to see it through a limited fixed monitor inside a cockpit that doesn't even show it in frame. You keep making this task more difficult for yourself for fun. My religion is the belief that we are God, but being God is boring, so we created suffering and limitations for fun.
Hahaha, no problem, feel free to comment as much as you want lol, I usually read and answer to almost all of them. : ) Totally agree, infinite freedom can introduce boringness and lack of purpose, constraints and limits of any sort are stimulating ! I guess we could even be extreme, and compare those limits to our little lifespan on this Earth, eternal life is boring : P Cheers
The EVA "screw thing" is a real-life experiment that shows a bi-stable rotation. It really rotates like that in real life for some reason. It's known as the Dzhanibekov effect, also known as the tennis racket theorem or intermediate axis theorem. Veritasium did a video on it. The "screw-thing" is called a wing-nut, because it's a nut with wings. Coincidentally Wingnut is also my nickname at work.
Hey, thank you for detailling about this, very interesting ! I'll go watch the Veritasium video, thanks !
I had no idea you could walk around in first person. Nice idea for a vid. The cockpit controls are insanely cool, it will be great in VR I wonder if all the stuff I learnt from KSP will be useful one day.
Thanks a lot ! Yeah moving inside ships in first person is from FreeIVA mod. This cockpit doesn't work in VR, but all the normal ASET / RPM ones should afaik. cheers
awesome!
What a video! Can u try and do the Artemis III mission pls
Thanks a lot ! That could be a thing, but I have a lot of other things that are already cooking so we'll see ^^
Wow, that IVA cockpit is incredible! I can’t wait to fly with it!
Thank you ! It's coming soon, I hope ^^ (see video description for details : ) )
i love that the instruments sound like the nostromo from alien
well seen ! the CRT is indeed made mostly with those sounds
Man is REALLY getting the most out of his KSP play-through.
haha
Great vid, loving this series so far. Btw, what mod was used to categorise cockpits, command pods etc in the VAB?
thanks ! : ) That's VAB Organizer mod, life changer ^^
Gald you're back
me too !
Great video! What mod are those landing legs from at 1:15?
Hi and thanks ! IIRC, they're either from BDB, or Tantares
this is going to be the sole reason I get the making history dlc
: P
This was fun to watch, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed, thanks ! : )
Very very cool video!
thanks !
Amazing addition the external shots! And cant wait for the gemini iva! I will finally make a shepard destroyer like in the "lunar war" with kcs and have a proper period iva! Also, an idea that has occurred to me while you spoke of warping as "sleeping". Make a button that says "sleep" but that warps to the next maneuver node (or whatever interrupts the warp). Maybe even add a seat in some cockpits that have the space for it (like the lower part in the mk2 cockpit) with that button (and maybe the other warp time controls. So kerbals have to go down using freeiva to warp time.
Hey thanks a lot for the feedback ! Hahaha I want to see that Hmm that's a really cool idea actually, and I find it very funny, and "kerbal", that the kerbal would have to click on a "sleep" button, to sleep ! : P Also answered to your other comment ; )
