4:15 Dark Souls 2 is very deliberate in teaching you lessons in the early parts of the game. The lesson here was to look around when entering new areas/rooms, the enemy was behind the door.

The Pursuer took me like 4 attempts, and it wasn't that bad. Maybe because I farmed earlier? I also just found out I was in the Victors Stone covenant, so I didn't even know that I made my experience harder in the beginning, and the enemies respawned (when resting at a bonfire) indefinitely LOL

hell yeah! love watching new people play through Dark Souls! just subbed and gonna binge your playlist. Just started playing DS1 for the first time in at least a year. kinda just been running around using every weapon XD Though there's no dual wielding in this game but that doesn't stop me! I highly suggest getting an estoc (thrusting sword) in your left hand and using it to parry, it'll take some getting used to, but it's fun!
