He's another (i forgot his name) jawn like dark skinned dude with the skinny dreads and the super proper speech. He died against Danny, lost to nitewing, and was saying Blve Cocaine at a point. Just can't remember his name... Another fire WRITER who wasn't as good at winning when it came down to flat out battling

With all due respect to Hitman, I really hate his branding 🤣I hate "Bags N Bodies", "Power Moves", and "1 Night Stand". His slogan for most of his career was "Ball Game", so no clue why he didn't go with that as well as "two words after this... BALL GAME". Anyway, I CANNOT keep track of which matchups are happening on which cards. TBL, Hitman, and T-Top are all staggering their matchup announcements and it's a big mess, in my opinion. The only thing I can say for certain is that Swamp is definitely top tier now if two promotions are promoting him. Isn't he also battling Snake Eyes, or did AngryFan do an inception on me? I'm so lost 🤪

This one ya just gotta be in attendance…Ward might have some of his best material vs Twork.

I just hope the website doesn't crash with all the people watching cuz this might be the biggest PPV in battle rap in a while

“How to judge a battle” today is nonsensical in certain matches. JJDD vs Swamp will be judged on totally different things. There’s no way Swamp can outbar JJDD. So we are going to say Swamp had more bars that made you feel something. 🤦. I’m learning to watch battles for the appreciation of the art instead of picking a winner. If JJDD and swamp are on 10 how the hell do you pick a winner? They both do different things. You pretty much are just picking who you like.

Only woman I can see beating her opponent is Viixen, mostly because I think Twork's gonna stretched too thin, and the Ward battle TBL just announced as well as the Rex battle on TTop's card feel like more of legacy matches for him than this one. Also hadn't realized the Swamp v John John announcement was for the fall, what's the point of announcing something like that this early? Really got some concerns about this ABCD league coming through on its promises

I'm honestly getting a little Hitman fatigue, even though he battles infrequently 😂Also, during his 2nd vs Geechi when he was attacking Asia, I felt like the material was a little Grindtime-ish and corny. Given that he named this card "One Night Stand" and this is his first inter-gender battle, I suspect his angle of attack will be "battle of the sexes" or misogynist type material. I'm going with Ms. Hustle for the upset.

I'd say keep the videos coming as and when they're timely. Nobody is gonna want to rewatch a video about a battle being announced or predictions 2 years after the card drops, so all the value in these types of blogs comes from being current and up to date in the moment. It might seem messy to have 3 videos about the same card but it's better than being a day late and a dollar short. Just my opinion though.

I'm more excited for this battle than I was for Rum vs Lux. Do we automatically assume a big stage since it's in Houston? Regardless, the matchup is great because it will be mostly a rap battle and not a top tier gossip session. I do see some career breakdown and character assassination, but a lot of abstract rhymes and wordplay. Expectations should be high, I think.
