Shit, that is scary. 46-degree is more than 100% tangent, and I have never done it before.

Not all that much steeper than Lone Pine at Norquay, in Banff. It is a bit more narrow, but it is also groomed and icy, great conditions for super fast cruising. The skiers were good, but they weren't carving as much as sliding their tails through the really steep bits. Of course if you fall, you likely slide all the way down to the flats. Unpleasant indeed, so don't fall!
