Keep Yourself Grounded | Mat's Mind | Đà Nẵng | Vietnam
In today's world, our minds easily wander and we often find ourselves disconnected from the present. It's commonly believed that creativity thrives in this state. Nevertheless, creative work and inspiration usually flourish when we find ourselves grounded, present in the moment, aware and connected to ourselves, to our surroundings and to others around us. Inspiration most often comes when our minds are grounded, not when they wander away.
Mat’s Mind is a French contemporary artist currently based in Đà Nẵng, Vietnam. Through her artworks and the messages behind them, she aims to raise consciousness and explore the divine around and within us. Each of her artworks represents her perception of the world, the energies that surround her, and the well-being she wishes to share with others. They are a reminder to reconnect with one's inner joy and spirit while finding the courage to pursue one's aspirations. Mat usually paints with her instinct without necessarily picturing what she will do next; she trusts and let herself be driven by her energies and her soul so they can, later on, be immortalized.
In this video, Mat shares her creative process, as well as her thoughts on the importance of being grounded to create. The video was shot at Danasol - Eatery, Café and Workspace, in Đà Nẵng, Vietnam.

We all have unique paths, experiences, relationships and ideas. And the combination of all these things make our journey in this world even more singular, a one-in-the-universe experience. As artists, however, sometimes we might question ourselves if we should follow and nurture our individualities, or if we should adapt ourselves and change our styles according to what the market needs. Even t...
Think Outside the Canvas | Nam Jam 24 | Đà Nẵng | Vietnam

A blank canvas is essentially limitless. It offers us infinite possibilities to create and express ourselves. However, a canvas does have some forms of boundaries. First, there is a physical constraint that can prevent us from going further and creating larger artworks. In addition, if we develop the habit of always using the same medium to create, we can limit our experimentation process. When...

It’s kinda new to me to hear that., seems interesting
Beautiful! What a ride! 🙏🏼 You did a great job of capturing the atmosphere of the Federation and the values they stand for. I hope many more people will get the opportunity to see your work. 🔥
Very intresting!

Intresting place!
Thank you my friend !!
sweet, took me a while to find it on maps
Good job finding the location man 🙌 Haha we actually didn't write the location directly in the video because we wish to keep the place pristine as long as we can :) Hope you can visit it someday and check it out!! Crazy long waves!! ✌
Nicely done jason, explains the role of APTBY very well. I have dropped in a couple of times and as an older gay guy who grew up in a different western culture but was still a little confused and a bit unsure as to what my sexualising actually meant in the wider world during my teens I was delighted to see the results APTB Y achieved. A b8g thank you to all concerned. A good thing indeed.
Nice bro best wishes.
Thank you Holman!! Hope you're doing well and hope to see you again man! If you come to Vietnam this year, let me know 🙌

So beautifully explained and shot! I am so lucky that I have a Sak Yant tattoo by this wonderful artist. It was a very spiritual experience, this whole journey.
How can I find this artist? And how much is for the sak yant
A Sak Yant "master" who has to use Stensils? Great way to milk the tourists in Siem Riep for those Dollars yeah!
Such awesomeness ❤

Wonderful..❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
Tevy, we discovered your place and this video only tonight. Both are brilliant. Your staff and the boul Cecil are great too.
Looks like a nice take off section followed by a long ride of not much at all.
Great take off section indeed 😄 The waves are incredibly long, but most of them lose their strength as the move further from the initial section. Still it's really fun to surf them for such a long time haha
I love your video❤🎉
Thank you so much brother !! 🙏 Love your videos too ! It's so nice to see Siem Reap in your videos!! See you around !!
which month is best for waves there?
We went there in early December, and the waves were great! Best months seem to be between November and March, during the winter monsoon season 🖖

100% of Thailand Sak Yant can't Sutra Sanskrit language likely Cambodian because the Teacher spirit of Cambodia know a lot of Sanskrit language sutra in to tattoos. and a lot of tourism they not a bout this.
Sak Yant is originated from Khmer empire, khmer people. Of course the original knows more
You're crazy???😂
Pol Pot murdered all the Sak Yant Ajarns. Issan has plenty still going strong who don't need stencils and a "Master" for "Blessings". Avoid these Scam Artists trying to milk the tourists for their money
@@sousettyofficialNope, the tattoo is from the khmer empire

Nice video Andre, really love the documentary kind of video structure, really brings the authentic & spiritual side forward. Would love to take a Sakyant Tattoo from this artist. Also have another question, do you know some great places to learn Pradal serey (Kun Khmer boxing)? There are maby 2 gyms i found on the internet with information, do you know if there are more (smaller) gyms in Siem Reap?
Thank you so much man !! Really happy that you liked the video and the Sak Yant art🙏 Sombath is an amazing artist and a very inspiring person, I had the chance of doing a Sak Yant Tattoo with him and was a really nice experience. Totally recommend checking out his Federation if you come to Siem Reap :) About the Kun Khmer boxing: I heard good things about Kingdom Fight, MRLY Gym and Angkor Muscle Gym. I haven't done kun khmer boxing, but you can check this places. Hope it helps you out !! Thank you again for the message and wish you the best !!
@@andreakito2068 Much appreciated Andre, i will check those places.

Very nice story...thank you.
Thank you 🙏🙏
This is an inspiring restaurant. On a school trip to Cambodia in 2017 I ate at this restaurant and met some of these amazing Cambodian students/chefs as well as Paul Wallimann, who was working in the restaurant alongside the youth. It was such an impressive restaurant, from the amazingly delicious food to the fantastic service and ambience... that it left an indelible impression. Truly love what the Wallimann's are doing with Haven and hope to return again someday.
love this so much! Well done Tevy and Andre!
Thank you for your kind comment Sonya. Andre did a great job.
Thank you so much Sonya :)
Found this video from Domestika course final projects. It's amaizing! 🥰 So - you took a course about Documentary filmmaking? 🤩 (Guess, you already have a lot of expierence..)
Heeeya Teiksma :) Thank you so much for the message! I'm really happy that you liked the video !! And yes !! I did the Domestika course about Documentary Filmmaking, really nice and helpful! I did a few videos before, but this is one of the first that I used the documentary structure. Hope to make some more like this in the future ✌😄
What an excellent piece of work. It really tells Tevy's story so well. Tevy and Tevy's Place is the epitome of what is good about Cambodia. Thanks to her and Cecil for their support of Cambodian education.🇰🇭☘️
Thank you Colm
Thank you so much Colm ! 🙏🙏

Tevy, your story and many like you is so unbelievably tragic and to see you turn your life around to having your fantastic restaurant is inspirational to say the least. I love your food too. Thank you

I really like your background music. It goes very well with your video. The slow-mode, fast-mode combination accurately delivered the message you want to tell. There isn't a word in your video but it delivers a lots of information and the mystery of Angkor. Nice work!
Heeya Leanne !! Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate 🙏Hope to see you around Siem Reap again soon !! Take care :)
Well done Andre Akito, modernly showing and stating the correct fact of the only 500 years period approximately of the Khmer Culture and Civilisation from 800-1431 CE and nothing more and nothing less and now completely dead and buried by a new Buddhist Culture since 500 years ago... a subscription plus a like !!!
