This is a pretty fair assessment of the whole "Red Stone of Aja is needed to defeat the Pillar Men" legend, but I'll go a bit deeper with each Pillar Man and explain how the Red Stone helps defeat them individually. Esidisi is the first to be defeated. He comes to Venice looking for the Red Stone, and he finds that it is in the possession of Lisa Lisa. On his way to claim the stone Joseph confronts Esidisi and defeats him, thus Esidisi met his fate whilst pursuing the stone. Had the stone been destroyed, Esidisi would have no reason to stay and fight Joseph. He would have simply left to fight another day. Next is Wamuu, and his defeat is specifically related to the situation brought up in the video. Wamuu is defeated in an honorable duel against Joseph, a duel that only occurred because Lisa Lisa gambled the safety of the Red Stone against Kars as to not be defeated by an entire army of vampires. Not much else to say on this since the video pointed it out, so I'll move on. Finally, I will detail how the Red Stone is used against Kars. There are actually quite a few points to touch on, some shared with his fellow Pillar Men, but I'll start with the weakest and most obvious case. Kars is defeated when the power of his own Hamon is channeled into the Red Stone and causes a massive volcanic eruption that blasts him into outer space. However, as the video points out, this dramatic display of power caused by the stone is only necessary to defeat Kars because Kars had used the Red Stone to become the ultimate life form, so it isn't exactly fair to count this one. But other than the climactic finale of Part 2, Kars' dedication to the Red Stone in general is heavily used against him by the heroes. When Kars is falling with Joseph down the cliffside, fighting for the Red Stone, Kars tries to slice Joseph in half but Joseph uses the Red Stone as a shield to deter Kars from attacking. This gives Joseph enough time to escape Kars with clever planning and the help of Caesar, and so Joseph lives to defeat the Pillar Men at a later date. Additionally, in the same case as Wamuu, Kars is left powerless to kill Lisa Lisa and JoJo with his army when the safety of the Red Stone is threatened and he is forced to give them a fair chance in one-on-one duels. Lastly, like Esidisi, Kars would have no reason to even bother with the heroes if the Red Stone was no longer in usable condition. He and the rest of the Pillar Men would simply hide away and wait for a new opportunity to become ultimate life forms.

Any reviewers can have objectively incorrect takes and the fact that Schaffrillas was argued into changing his mind confirms that.

The thing that annoys me is how Schafrillas always picks the most awkward pictures for his his reviews as if he’s purposely trying to make every movie he reviews look stupid.

I found Schaffrillas comparing Turning Red to Encanto about the generational trauma thing is unfair considering Turning Red was only a few months after Encanto. Plus, just because one story did something it doesn't mean no other story can do that. It just matters on how well executed it is in which Turning Red did a very good way with the story and messaging.

Depth? Bro it's a dumb kids movie lol.

If there is some kind of point to the story a lot of people got wrong, perhaps it's the fault of the movie itself for poorly conveying that point. I find pointing out names in the titles of videos like this to be a needless dick move. Schaff has done nothing wrong by simply not liking the movie all that much.
