You did an amazing job. I have the same model waiting to be built. Right now I’m building Tamiya’s 1/350 USS Missouri.
Thank you. :)
This is a masterpiece! All your hard work definitely paid off. Just beautiful! I love the people . . . really adds to the realism.
Thank you and thanks for watching..😊😊
where can I get the rigging plands from
I searched online and in books. Remember there is no definitive rigging. It changed at different stages of voyage. I installed the ones I felt were always there and looked best.
@@themodelbench ook thanks for the help I'll keep looking for the hooks for the deck rigging
Found your channel some time ago when I was starting the same 1948 Ford Woody model kit that you did. Loved your keen eye on that build and have watched your entire catalog now. Looking forward to your future content!
Looks amazing mate. Nice one :)
Thank you..:)
am still trying to work out how to do the rigging on the top deck
Did you look at my video? It shows attaching small eyelets to deck and then rigging is attached to them.
ok I've seen the books in the Titanic but where do I hook them onto there is nothing in the PE and nothing on the frames. do I drill wholes in the top deck
Watch my video about the 2 mins 25 part. You can see I attach them to a tiny base part that sits on deck. I think this was part of PE set.
The instructions are very confusing and time confusing...great result
where can I get the rigging plans from as I have this kit
I looked up various books and websites. I then decided on which rigging was always up. The flags changed depending on where it was in its journey.
looks nice ................the rudder is upside down though.....and the fast moving camera back and forth makes you a bit seasick(for future reference)...............love the extra details would like to see more on the lighting set up.......
not sure how you mounted the rear section .......if you can get it off .......but you have your rudder upside down.......if you are able to flip it , will give better alignment nice details on salon interior🤙
Thanks..yep I can flip it right way round..:)
What a beautiful model of the Titanic. And what a beautiful presentation. Your voice is very calming. I look forward to seeing more of your UA-cam clips.
Thank you..glad you enjoyed it. :)
where can I buy the full model kit?
Try your local model store or search online..
Look forward to all your projects. Always enjoy the little extras and personal touches you add.
Thanks so much!😊😊
Thank you..much appreciated..:)
Recall seeing the original "Proteus" film prop on display at the National Museum of American History for an exhibit titled "Visions of Future Past" over forty years ago. Was very impressed by the stunning interior detail visible through the craft's windows. Estimating it was at least I/18 scale. Of course, they had smaller versions for distance shots
Awesome, working on my first ever model of the titanic it’s a 1/700 and looking at this I can’t wait to get better.
Amazing!
When it comes to 3D modeling and the like especially, another fantastic resource is Titanic The Ship Magnifient Vol. 1 and 2 (though a bit pricey IMO).
Magnificent! ❤
where can I get the rigging for the lines down on the deck
Hi..I just went to a store that sells various thicknesses of thread and found some that I felt were the right size. Remember to vary your thickness throughout the boat. It gives a better overall effect. 👍🏻😊
@@themodelbench the thread is in the kit
Not sure what you’re asking?
@@themodelbench the rigging eyes on the deck where do I get them from or are they on the PE in the kit
Yes I think they are in the KA photo etch set.
Great job...congratulations..completed in several hours i suppose..
The nice it is it has and the figures included...like the orchestra members i suppose...the flags are from plastic also ?
Is it only plastic the material? In comparison with the lego one?
How much did it take you to finish it ? And how much did it cost you totally with the painting?
i've no idea of total cost as I bought various upgrades over time. certainly in the thousands...
Here in Greece from other brand it costs too much...1700 euro...140 brochures in magazines...3 years to collect the magazines and parts..1/200...with leds...and smoke in chimneys...but overcosted....
Yes I've seen that one. I found it a little lacking on details.
Hachette
@@Dom534 Thats it. I think the kit is much better.
It doesn't have many details?? However brochures are analytical ...despite the fact of the overestimated cost...and the highly number of magazines required...also the price may reach the peak of 2000 euro in 2027...do you think it deserves so much expenses and time to wait ?? I don't know how many pieces it is..
@@themodelbench which kit ?
When can we see the inside? Ha ha ha
It's interesting to consider that by sinking to the seafloor on her first long voyage, Titanic has achieved immortality. Her sister ships have long been cut up for scrap after years of expected service.
No not really, R.M.S Britannic sank in 1916 to a sea mine. Only one sister, Olympic saw the scrap yard.
That is a really nice build. You definitely should be proud of this ! I’m using all China 3D on the exterior and all of Neil’s interior on mine. I definitely have a big appreciation for the work and dedication you put into this beautify. Nice work!
thank you! Best of luck with yours..:)
@@themodelbench it’s moving along. Just about to finish A Deck in the next video. Feel free to check them out. I’m watching yours now as I just stubbled upon you.
@@LCModelShipBuilding I will...cool!
Thanks a lot ! In between I learnt that "historians" do not agree with the length of the Nautilus. It seems that J Vernes mentioned in his❤ book a far greater dimension than that of Disney. From what I understand a 16" is thus roughly equivalent to 1/144 ... thus giving some clues to select the right accessories !!
What is the length of this model .... and to which scale it is (well I must admit that I do not know what is the 1:1 length of Disney Nautilus !). Excellent work ... congratulation !!!
It is 31 inches in length, 1/77 scale. Thank you. ;)
What wire rigging thickness was used for this model? I’m building one as well and I need to know the wire thickness
I used the photo etch set from KA to do the masts. The rest was various thickness of thread. Best to sort them yourself. I went to. Local store and found ones that I felt worked.
Looks so clean. The people really add something too.
Thank you..:)
Awesome. Thank for sharing! but the link for Photoetch set from Greenstrawberry isn't working. Greets from Puerto Rico.
Fixed..;) Thank you.
Awesome. Thank you for sharing. Great work. 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!..:)
@@themodelbench the first Batmobile with photoedged parts, I found here on YT. And it’s still on my Workbench. So it’s a great watch. I’m going to illuminate my Batmobile. And what’s about the Windshield Wipers? :)
I didn’t go with wipers. Were they on the screen used car? Best of luck with your model..:)
@@themodelbench I think at the 92 Movie. And thank you.
super cool!
Thank you…😊
That looks great !
Looking forward to seeing Part 2. Thanks
Will be visiting here soon to see a mate. Thanks for insight on this experience
Enjoy! Its a cool museum.
Beautiful, but missing 1 important detail , no Bat phone !!
It has a Batphone …🤷🏼♂️
@@themodelbench didn’t see it
It’s in there. Lights up too..:)
Can I ask what glue did you use?
Just regular plastic cement..
Thank you for the video. I think you did a very awesome job , she is a very beautiful ship. I just ordered my titanic kit and I'm going to get the upgrade kit too, like you said just enjoy the pleasure of building her.
where do I buy the display case ?

You were missed! Glad you are okay and look forward to the next model.
Thanks for your vids and help with the Titanic which will take me forever. Everyone gets busy so it’s understandable that you need some downtime from posting.
This is perfect, great job! 👍🏻
Thank you..😊🙏🏻
Very nice finish. The colours work very well, the face is fantastic , nice subtle shading all around. I think i might have to have a go at this kit.
Thank you. It’s a really nice kit..😊
Hi am making the model of the 1/200 titanic but what I need to know is I have the wooden deck for it. but it has some yellow sheets with it do I put them on first so it helps the wooden deck stick
Which set of decks do you have? What brand name?
Hi it's the Chuanyu wooden deck @@themodelbench
I'm not familiar with that set. So I have no idea about application. Sorry..@@philip167
it's ok I'll find out what the yellow paper is for
I love this so much detail can't wait to own a copy of it.
It’s such a good book. You’ll love it..:)
@@themodelbench I've ordered it, it arrives on Saturday hopefully
She looks beautiful Hope my attempt is half as good as yours but I'm making mine a builders model so it will be clean and unpopulated. I must admit there are plenty of ideas out there especially on funnel colour's and rigging plans. Plenty food for thought. Once again it's a beautiful job well done from me
Thank you, much appreciated. Best of luck with yours...enjoy..:)
