The cover is well played. I like the sound. But I see as a problem to connect music to guns. Heavy music is a cultivated form of "fighting for your life" as well as any sport is. What do you want to demostrate by showing us those guns? Think about that. Man, keep playing the bass. You do it really well. Dismantle and destroy those AKs. Being a man means something else.

Jazz is very versatile, but give me a Precision any day. The Stingray didn't impress me much. I was surprised how good the Rick sounds for slap.

My take on Rickenbacker Basses is that they really require a good amplifier or they sound weak. The Fender basses can make do with about any amplifier. So, I have heard Rickenbacker's sound great or lifeless. Also, Rickenbacker basses are awkward to play unless you use a pick. I think that there is a lot that the Rickenbacker company could do to improve the instrument but there is little incentive because they sell faster than they can be made.

I have just one Rickenbacker (a 4001 made in 1979, BurgundiGlo), that I have bought, used, in 1988. It is absolutely my favorite among all my basses. My Number One! I too have covered this one, years ago, and soon I will record it again but this time for a full band cover. We have already covered other Motorhead songs. Greetings!

The Jazz and the Stingray sound great but the P will always sit in the mix better. Even if you record with Jazz, Stingray or 4001 - the engineer will make it sound like a P.

Maple neck P is the 👑 of all basses, especially sith the action just low enough to dig and growl... This is why every studio and producer on the planet relies on one.. its simple and you can get any other tone out of the players fingers and tone knob. J is always less beef and springy... The rays are sterile and brittle.. Ricks are right behind the P and can almost get all these tones via volume and tine knobs.. But a P you can get so many tones just with your fingers, tone knob and strinf choices..

I liked the Warwick for finger and slap the most with the Stingray coming close. But to my ears the La Fey had a fantastic pick tone.

The 77 jazz sounded best to my ear. Ive had all 4 types of bases (not those particular years tho). But each one probably sounds best for particular things.

The P Bass is my favourite. I play a P Bass with a Jazz neck. It's perfection.
