Back around 45 years ago, my little family had a uhaul truck and were moving to Colorado. Red Desert was just a grimy little gas station. Because it was so remotely located and the only station around, we were forced to stop there to get gas. The jurks that ran the station priced there gas at about 3 times normal. I made a promise to myself never to stop at that dirty p.o.s. dive again. Promise kept.
