Hey Joe. Just curious, after a few years, did you ever end up adding the resistors that were recommended? Or have you even noticed any noise?

Hiya Joe! I've been having a problem with my DFPlayer mini I ordered from your amazon link. Whenever I put some mp3 files for me to play some music while in party mode I run into the issue of when I turn on the pack, all my sounds mix and play in other's actions. Like I'll pull the activate switch and it'll activate the turning on the pack instead of the click sound. Do you know why this could be happening? Do you think you could forward me to a group of people who might save my case if you can't help me? Thanks!

Sadly, I agree RGB is A tier. Great color scheme, but it’s very simple.

I really like 2016, but understand why people would hate it. I do love the pack. To your point, it looks more like a mark 1 or 2 type of pack.

Great video. When I started building my first Spirit, I bought the Afterlife book for research. I really wish they used some of the pack ideas from the book, in the movie. But I feel like they punked out at the end, and just made minimal changes to the pack.

Where can I get stickers for the lightning collection morpher? I just bought one on Amazon last night once I found out they are back in stock for under $100. I want to customize mine into a Green Ranger morpher however. I've already found the gold front plate and coin on Etsy, but can't seem to find stickers to go on the plate. I also found a green back plate to replace the red one already in it. Just need replacement stickers

Got the shell printed, finetuning some of the other things. I've assembled the main body and ready to start measuring for the guts. I got both the neopixels and the ring lights for the Cyclotron. But, I noticed there's no available mounting for some of the parts. Do you have a link or direction to point me to find some? I checked the FB page and the question was booted and the search yielded that Taco isn't excited about the ring.

Yes I'd like to see the people buster pack! I remember that episode from trgb cartoon.

I get what you mean on the cyclotron spinning animation for the lights. For a time, I'm not sure anyone even thought the "lights" were actually windows. The only other place where it confirms that yes, those weren't meant to flash but where shielded windows was the cartoon. I think it was in season one or two (syndicated episodes) they show one of the pack's spinning up on a closeup. They only showed that once. Made me take pause. When I saw the effect used in Afterlife and I went, "Huh. Maybe we should do that in the OG packs."

I cannot get the code to go on mine and I'm just about to at the point of throwing the pack and electronics in a fire pit and burning em that's how extremely irritated that I am

Another difference between the GB1 & GB2 Proton Packs is that the wands are mounted slightly differently. In GB2, the Neutrona Wand is on more of an angle to make it easier for the actors to pull the wand.

Awesome video! You should make more tier lists, like of the different Proton Pack toys.

Hello mate, I’m so excited by your videos. Just saw the completed video. I started printing my proton pack last year in 2023 in the aim to have it ready for Halloween 2024…..needless to say it got put on the back burner as life got in the way but you’ve inspired me to crack on and complete it now. All the parts for the pack is printed but I lost steam getting the lights and audio running. Will try again now as my kids would LOVE to trick N Treating with me dressed as some ghostbusters. Have subbed and hopefully I’ll be able to complete the project this year

Did you make any changes to his code because I still can't get my relays the trigger I get the Arduino to go through it's routine nothing it's like the Arduino is not sending trigger to turn the relays on. Until I figure out what's going on I'm going to have to add a manual switch to turn the relays on just try and sync it with the end of the venting system something just occurred to me Geelong trigger wire caused the problem I had to put the relays in small boxes on the back of my Alice frame because there wasn't enough room inside so I had to use a long cable to get the trigger signal into the back of the box could that be the reason why it's not working,

I'm have to have another look at my wiring to see what I've done wrong my relay look a little different state of a green power light I have a red one😀

MikeS11 are you still using his code for this because I'm not getting my relays to activate when the packs are overheating nothing happens it doesn't even Trigger I was wondering if his code has been set up to run the trigger signal or not🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

So I am wanting to use the Afterlife version of the code and the code is uploading and everything but no "avr dude thank you" messages. Now I am just uploading the code directly to the arduino with nothing soldered up could that mess anything up?

Hiya Joe! This series is awesome and I've followed it to step in each video. I've had this problem in which once my audio system goes into the hum sound, it is stuck there, jamming my entire system. Lights are reactive to the buttons, just audio remain on hum. I also do not have a bargraph and don't plan on adding one. Do you know why this happens? Thanks a lot!

I hate to be a bother, but is there a detailed schematic out there? I see one on MikeS11 but it doesn't identify every component. Like, what are those PCBs coming off the amplifier and do you know where you an make/purchase the PCBs MikeS11 has on his page?

I'm really happy I stumbled onto your channel. I've been looking to make my own light and sound kit for my proton pack, using a plasma tube for the thrower light. I'm thinking I can use the same soldering technique as any regular lights.

I’m on my third proton pack. This is the first one I’ve done all the wiring and light. Your videos have been an awesome Resource. Thank you! I do have a question. I’m using a neopixel ring but I need to use a 45 light instead of 40. Any idea how to change to code to reflect this? When o power up the last five diodes of the ring act as the power cell. 🤣. Thanks again for your videos.
