Great comb legato and alternated picking

I recently discovered this song and it has become my favorite song, it just sits and resonates so much with my heart., I used to play some guitar nothing professional just strumming to some basic chords. I am 40 , divorced dad of a beautiful 3 year old boy. Gonna start taking guitar lessons again this coming Monday and i am excited to re ignite that passion for music again and maybe learn some blues, like this beautiful song! Just dropped my boy off at his mom's and drinking whiskey listening to this thinking how much I miss him

Many thanks, this is just great. I just bought an old amp and have a sound hole pickup on my Maton acoustic, this is going to blow my acoustic loving wife out of the room. She could have happily been in the audience howling at Dylan when he went electric, so I just need to learn this and try it out on her. Did I mention we live in a timber lined steel container with a foam lined ceiling so it's an intimate venue. lol.
