Wow, the walk through that tunnel, then out to meet the ocean, was beautiful.
It is stunning Amelia. Sometimes the sea is so rough that it comes deep into the tunnel and you can get soaked.
The best country in the world...
We found the people to be really friendly and welcoming for the most part. We also loved the proximity of Lisbon to this location.

Yes it was!
That is true. Also windier. We struggled with the same choice, might still live to regret it! But in the end, the area is closer to family/friends and all the places we enjoy. When it's a good day in SMP, you end up appreciating it more.
