Let me see if I get this right, the concept of the show is to send somebody to a hotel after they trash their house because they're too lazy to clean it and the show then cleans the freaking house

It's so unfair for the compulsive hoarder member of the family to force other members of the family to live with her/his stuff. I suffered through that with my [ex] husband. I had a friend in San Francisco who lost her telephone and her shoes inside her apartment. She eventually lost the apartment also.

Why do people apply to be on the show, THEN ACT TOO STUBBORN TO LET ANYTHING GO??? Why TF ask to be on the show in the first place?

Just my two cents. This show was a definite precursor to the show Hoarders. Clean house made it fun and silly and there was a lot of good make-overs. But then I believe hoarding in general became such a mainstream psychological problem that it then became more dark and more serious and that's where 'Hoarders' came in. (IMO) 😊
