@@Vmari2kYt On the Mx8 you’re limited to 2 sounds you can layer. You can layer a piano with Ens mix strings, or almighty strings. And for pads Analog pad and make sure you set the release to -10 and the cutoff to -12. I hope that helps, I would recommend the Yamaha MODX series the possibility’s are endless when it comes to layering on that keyboard!

It wasn’t MKSENSATION Xtreme that I was using here. It was the regular MKSENSATION app I was using, and it was Piano 2, and Ep 2 with Chorus.

This is literally the most basic patch I have layered. It’s just a DX galaxy EP that’s on almost every Yamaha synthesize.

@@Frecheszinho Yes I do. It’s just a thing on this keyboard that’s the only thing that’s annoying. I noticed it more when I layer up to six sounds. If I use sample sounds, I don’t really notice it that much. I tried to limit layering up to only five sounds so that problem won’t happen. I really hope Yamaha can fix this issue with the future.

@@angelotheepianist YES! Nord layers less sounds, but is so much more competent in this aspect! Nord just works! It's the Apple of keyboards hahahaha. Don't get me wrong, I love my yamaha keys ;) they have some awesome voices comparable to nord in my opinion and a lot of possibilities to tweak around! 😍😍😍 Maybe it's because when you sample your sounds, you use only one "oscilator", and the default piano's of yamaha use like 6 or 8. That sure consumes a lot of polyphony! If I have too many sounds in one performance, I use scenes and turn off the keyboard action for some of the sounds in specific scenes, if you simply mute the sounds, it will be the same as if you are playing it, and it can cut the sound. Thanks for the super fast response brother! I never learned shouts because I play more "white Gospel" in here :) But I've tried a bit, it's quite fun!
