Demo Days at Victorville Harley Davison
Переглядів 744 роки тому
few months ago Victorville Harley Davidson had a demo truck out and this is all the footage i got before my camera ran out of stage
Progressives run $850
I’m 5’7” too. Same bike. Same colour. I put Legend air ride in the rear, and progressive suspension fork lowering kit in the front. I’m happy with it now. Didn’t think the front would make a difference. (2” drop). Huge difference.
@@stephenlegere in recent times i’ve learned a lot more about suspension, i no longer run this set up i ended up ditching the drop bracket and putting half an inch of preload into it and now it leans over way easier
seen your video. where bout in the high desert are you. im over here by spring valley lake.
Isnt the factory shock a 14 inch?
What kit is that??? I just put on a sadleman seat now I’m 3 inches higher I need something like that???
That adjusting the preload that you did raised the bike, and that "one little click" changed the way the shock responded to a bump.. Those lowering adaptors put your shock in a comprising position, which is a incorrect angle for proper operation.. You would have been better off buying a 1" shorter shock, and forget the drop adaptor.
I just put a sadleman on my 21 street glide with legend revo A now my bike is 3 inches higher man I can barely touch I don’t know what to do I love the seat but now I can’t touch. This sucks
@@ryanr4181 yea? what bike and what length rear shock
@@ut1004bp 2021 street glide I got the born scum custom sadleman road sofa LS I believe 12inch legend revo A on the back. It’s so high now I’m tip towing. Horrible
@@ryanr4181 yea, I also havea 2021 street glide, but you need to sell the sofa, , and find a 2017 or later OEM Road King seat and try it..besure to raise your back tire off the ground and measure your rear shocks, then be sure to adjust the rear shock for proper sag ..12" shock should sag 5/8-3/4" with you seated... If you have 13"shocks, you might want to go 12".
Go with Wilbur shocks self leveling
Legend tells you not to use lowering blocks with their shocks
I did Legend RevoA in the rear and Progressive drop ins for the front. Save the Legend money; maybe even for the rear for your baggers? I’m not sold on the extra few hundred over the similar Progressive option.
i’m going to do race tech cartridges on the front i haven’t used anything beside these legends and the stock shocks in terms of rear so i can’t speak on other brands personally
Great video... Just curious as to why you have two side mirrors on each side?
streetglides come with fairing mounted mirrors but they suck and have very little adjustability so i threw on regular bar mirrors like every other harley model i recently took off the fairing mounted ones but there’s a small hole for the mounts now
@@bobbyromo69 Oh ok... I've see people put tweeters in those hole locations to utilize the space. Something to consider.
What year is your bike bro?
nice i been looking for something to do to my street glide as far as lowering vs air shocks i might give these a looksie
Custom built shocks only cost between 2 and 3 hundred bucks. Why all the fuss? If you can't get your jack under the bike, just pull the front wheel onto a couple layers of plywood. Again, why all the fuss? My CVO is lowered much more than your bike, I am 5'6". Custom shocks, and no problem getting a jack under it. Why all the fuss?
Why all the fuss on your comment bro
@@mram7715 It was just for you.
@@FernandoChaves glad you were able to get some control bud
@@mram7715 LOL!
Why didn't you cut that lower tube while it was still mounted to the bike?
Cause the sparks that fly up when cutting are mostly molten metal and that will scratch a bike up
Hey what back rest/seat is that?
It’s just the factory seat and a harley sissy bar it came with the bike new
Do you have a video of the initial drop install?
I have a 2012 StreetGlide. 1" lowering brackets, and Drag Specialities 13" shocks. Much better than the OEM air shocks.
Great riding weather video!!!
Can you link me to the shocks bracket and your pegged saddlebag guards
Dude nice video I want to lower my 2015 street bob I have the same shocks as u
Thanks I love the dropped look I have and people always comment on how much lower my bike is love it
Do you think it will bottom out with a passenger?
I don’t think I know it will 😆😆😆
Trust me when I say it’s definitely a style over comfort thing
turn down that shit ass music!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant understand you
U should prob just try another channel Ronnie
Wow, that's a great driving video. I'm honored to be your best channel friend. Have a nice Monday. 👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙👌
Lowered shock or a lowering kit, not both. And those lowering brackets suck, they ruin shock angle and ride sucks. 10.5” shock is as low as you can go.
Dope
Is that your pops supervising?
Tool Brothers checking what all the commotion was lol
You're a good dude. Thank you for the video.
Clean foot, dirty foot. Never put both feet down
I never thought of doing suspension. What I did when I got mine was get the Harley low pro seat. My back pain was gone, I was able to flat foot, without messing with ride quality at all. If you still have an issue riding it, it’s the best $300 I’ve ever spent. Plus the stitching is really nice. (Diamond stitch)
Maples Auto Sales one of my future in vestments is a gel seat I did look at the low pros and they’re nice but with these new shocks it gets rid or the rear wobble in turns cause they eliminate the bushings and use a uniball instead slowing the rear to move more freely instead of fighting to stay in place
What Brand lowering bracket did you go with? I see the shocks are the Legend Revo A’s
I’m 5’5” and ride a 2014 street glide. I recommend JNR air ride with the ride height repeater. You can keep it low for around town then pick it up to hit the road and kill the turns on a cloud
Did you do the front aswell?
This is a sick video! I love Grange such a fun track! Looking forward to more!
Just a good video booby
Thanks I used you as sunblock that day
I just bought the 2020 streetglide, I’ve had 3 so far I’m looking to lower mine a lil.im gonna look into this set up how much was it?And do you live in the high desert California like Hesperia?i grew up there lol
Never mind on the price lol just heard you say the price
chuckymonster1000 definitely worth the investment I recommend it to everyone who buys a new bagger
This was definitely a fun event cause the track is rewarding when you get it right. But it can tear a car up lol. Great driving
Isaiah Harris thanks man it was actually my buddy kyle driving tho
Great vid Bobby
let's go bobby 💪
I can ride my bike with no handlebars because I use it for the ride
Should put the stock shocks back on with the lowering kit sell those for the money
Nah the stock shocks ride like shit trust me if you invest in legends suspension you won’t go back to stock shocks
Right on bikes badass
Good stuff man. Ya I’ll be looking for shocks soon for my bike. I’ll be need comfort though not height. Nice you are getting it figured out.
The legends suspension rides like a dream I’m doing them on the front soon but it is a very costly test
Nice color. I fill you pain short legs too .
The legends suspension made me flat foot it ok but I couldn’t get a step up seat so that’s why I invested in a drop kit
@@bobbyromo69 where you get the drop kit from
Amazon from a company called waverspeed it was $69
ooooo doctorrrr
please reply
Oh yes spread me nice and thin

Thanks for posting, I'm thinking of getting a set. They seemed like they'd be pretty easy to put on, and it was good to see that they are.
Yeah the only thing the add on hardcore cycles doesn’t tell you is that you have to cut your old bag supports, I found this out cause I called Santoro fabworks my self asking how they went on lol
No rattle? Tight fit? Little "if'y" cutting my stock bag support!
@@muffdiver7670 I have a video posted on bag guard installation for the Santoro Fabworx bag guards. Also I have one for the front crash guard that I'm gonna post after Bike Week is over. Both are super detailed and easy to follow video's
I’m getting a set of these and watched both videos. Thx to both of you for posting how to vids. Now I just gotta get a bike 😔
Nice. Thanks for the video. Do you have an Instagram?
Texas VeryOwn @ bugandblue114
I've got an instagram it's luckyslair
I dig those guards my dude. You gonna cap off that tubing?
Papa Jefe the old bag support goes inside the tubing on the guard that’s why I had to chop the end off it !
