I dated her well, in a way. It was her EXACT twin....right down to including her feet... when I was in HS. That was approx 10 yrs before this movie....absolutely 99.99% true & 🎯 spot on..... including the red bikini tits scene. Then Years later in 1982....Some of my still close friends told me I have to go watch this movie because they could not believe Phoebe was a complete carbon copy of her, either...they said EXACTLY looking like my former HS girlfriend. MY HS G'friend is just a terrific lady, too.....very classy. We 'long distance dated' for a long time after HS..( we went to diff universities far from each other ) and only got to be with each other during semester breaks & then in summers when we both were home.....it just didn't work...& after college I met another lady in same city I was living back then. I ended up marrying the wrong lady- divorced 3 yrs later...... my HS girl later got married approx a yr after my marriage.....the very same HS girlfriend I speak of here..... to this day she is still the only true love of my life....my soulmate till the end of time. We later saw each other at her relative's funeral approx 8 yrs after we last dated & when our eyes met...we both hugged each other so tight for a long time...everyone saw it....and everyone, especially her family still knew we both had never really lost that bond of true love for each other. The director gets alot of credit for the pool scene but don't ignore the sound engineer. "Moving in Stereo" has that dreamscape synthesizer noise in the intro that works perfectly, then that "di-da-lee-boop" keyboard sound as she's walking is just so perfect. Then the music pauses & you can hear the sound of the water dripping off her body. Gives a very sensual vibe. And her voice being slightly echoed builds into the dreamscape. It's the little details.
