The curated videos are videos that might have been lost to the ages because they were only avilable on a VHS format and might not have been digitized and/or put to DVD. The Friends of the Harrison Memorial Library Book Sale held at the Junipero Serra School at Carmel Mission in Carmel, California on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014. This was a segment filmed during my time in the newsroom as videographer with the Monterey Herald. Junipero Serra school closed down in 2020 after more than 75 years in operation.

I was one of many, many, volunteers and actors that worked on it. This video/slideshow is dedicated to all the volunteers and actors that put in their time and effort to make these haunts a success.

Black and white 8mm silent film footage shot by Thomas A. Coleman of a fire on Highway 20 just outside Nevada City. Footage features aircraft dropping fire retardant. Flames are visible at the 7:00 mark in timeline. Please excuse the second part of this footage as there are some frame jitter issues.
